Syracuse down 5 at Uconn at half. The Orange really need to improve their roster full of mid-major players.

Hopefully UConn wins and we're back in a tie for first

Yup....not an ordinary road game. This is UConn's 'Super Bowl.' This is 30 years of rivalry coming to an end.

I love Michigan football but I despise what that sport has done to love #1. College basketball is being torn asunder.

Even Coach K has gone on record slamming realignment:

But wait, that same Coach K told Andy Katz in Sep 2011:

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said Saturday night grabbing Syracuse and Pittsburgh away from the Big East would be a major coup."It's actually pretty exciting," Krzyzewski said. "I think it's great for our conference football-wise, even better basketball-wise."

If the two schools are to join the ACC, Krzyzewski doesn't want the conference to stop at 14 teams. He said he'd like to see 16 teams, taking two more schools that have comparable rich basketball traditions and are in the Eastern time zone. An ACC official told USA Today that Connecticut and Rutgers would be the candidates.

"I'm proud of the leadership of our conference to be ahead of things," Krzyzewski said. "We're in a period of change. Whether everyone agrees with it or doesn't agree with it -- change is happening. It's not a revolution, it's evolution. These things are happening."

Now that the ACC is in jeopardy he "hates" realignment. Which is it, Mike? You were "excited" about realignment until ACC schools began defecting.

You f@cking hypocrite.

And DePaul is beating Notre Dame 63-60 - in South Bend!
Have some patience, FFS.

RushmoreAcademy

If Syracuse and ND both lose tonight and we take care of business against Pitt........

Dang those UConn students are soooo disrespectful.

RushmoreAcademy

Some very ugly shooting here by the Orange.

tower912

I hope they are chastised appropriately by their AD.

This Cuse loss creates a 3 way tie for first, however with tiebreakers, MU would win the regular season title as of this moment. :)

Just makes losing to Georgetown(a team they are better than), all that more frustrating. Would have been in 1st all alone again.  >:(

And down goes #11 Butler to Charlotte.  Ouch......

Okay, this begs the question...UCONN can't play in the BE or NCAA tourneys, but can they technically win the BE regular season title?? Boy I bet that wouldn't make the league happy! I'd take a scenario at the end of the year that sees UCONN and MU tied for 1st. MU would win the BE Reg season title.

There are no tie-breakers for the title of regular season BEast champ.  Only Co-champs.

Correct...I misspoke. It would give MU the #1 overall seed for the BET though.
