Bat stopping play at Bradley Center

A bat flying inside the Bradley Center is occasionally stopping second-half play of the Marquette-Providence game.

So the ESPN guy (tool) talking about it was ripping on MU about wearing towels, I didn't see any MU people wearing towels, PC coach, TV announcers were and they didn't even give the final score of the game

For those who weren't at the BC .. it was indeed crazy.  Bat, swooping down onto the court .. refs, players jumping out of the way.  Not just once, but 5+ times, stopping play.

After 5-10 mins of this, everyone in the BC started thinking .. how do we get this sucker?  Fans waving coats, throwing t-shirt bundles at it.   Players chucking towels as it swooped down.

Then they turn off all the lights, the jumbotron, everything.   Within 60 seconds, hundreds of people had turned their cell phone camera flash on (steady) .. it indeed looked cool.

Very, very strange afternoon at the BC.

Bat is considered a delicacy in some parts of the world. Wonder if F*ckin' got to fry that sucker up? Add a a little salt and the whole family is set.

Sounds like if you want to feed the entire family you'll need to get one of those "Fruit Bats".

Fruit bats must be scary large.   ;)

Also when they turned the lights off for a few minutes they played Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" to which everyone sang.

Sounds like it was bats hit crazy.

I don't think they ever caught it, either.

I wonder if it will make an encore appearance at tonight's Bucks game.
Have some patience, FFS.

Crazy Train was a solid choice due to Ozzy biting the head off a bat.  The theme song to Batman would have been another.  Any other great choices?

They did play the theme song to Batman. Radar Love might have been another good shout.

And here is the link...

That was really something.  Not quite up there with "JP and the Cats", from my MU days, but quite impressive nonetheless.   ;)

Amazing.  Made the lead intro on the Today Show this morning.  I agree with an earlier poster...no such thing as bad publicity.
