Teemu is crazy--didn't do much last night, but 4 points at 42 in the previous game is wild.

Isn't Fasth (30 year old rookie??) just back-up until Hiller comes back?  Bring back Hiller!

He was the number two coming into the season and has been playing that role, even before Hiller got hurt.   Yes, he is a 30 year old rookie.  The Ducks management has been talking him up ever since the deal but I don't put a lot of stock in that stuff usually.  It's like when players report to Spring Training "he looks great, he's in shape, hitting the ball a ton, life on the fastball"..yada yada.  But so far, so good with this guy.

Chicos - given your business, I thought you'd be interested in this tweet - I assume this refers to a regular season game on Comcast - nonetheless, testament to this year's Hawks, Ducks and hunger for hockey:
@JeffNuich: Approx. 195K Chicago mrkt TV homes tuned into last night's #Blackhawks gm vs. ANA on @CSNChicago -- 3rd ALL-TIME highest-rtd game...

Wow.  I normally don't see the local ratings stuff as I deal with national channels more, but that is pretty crazy.  Thanks for sharing.  Obviously with the Hawks playing so well, I'm sure they have the city's attention.  Doesn't hurt to bring in another solid club (even if it's rather surprising the Ducks are playing at this level) to drive those numbers.

Dream start continues...Ducks over Red Wings at the Joe.

LloydMooresLegs

Dream start continues.  Hawks over Sharks at the UC.   ;D

You guys were expected to be good....we were not.

LloydMooresLegs

Man, the Hawks weren't supposed to be this good.  12-0-3.  And also with the back-up goalie playing well.  Crawford with an unstated injury (before the last game, Q wouldn't even say whether it was upper or lower body).  What a run.

TallTitan34

Hawks didn't make any significant moves and essentially have last years team.

Now 12-0-3. One more to tie the record.

Record held by the Ducks

You're only 2 years removed from a Stanley Cup championship.  The last few years you have underperformed, but still made the playoffs.

We couldn't even get into the playoffs last year and missed 2 of the last 3 years from going to the post season.

Chicos:  I agree with you that the Ducks are more surprising.  Are we done?  // ;)

TallTitan34

Hawks up 2-1 with 6 to go in the second!

LloydMooresLegs

How about that snipe from Sharp?   Good to get him going again.

TallTitan34

Two straight games with goals from Sharp.  Love it.

HOSSA!   3-1!

TallTitan34

Hawks fans, I highly recommend following @notpatfoley on twitter.  Hilarious.

LloydMooresLegs

Thanks for the recommendation.

WTF!  Hossa gets laid out again!

Right in front of the ref again.  Insane.

My stream isnt working. Is he okay?

TallTitan34

Hansen elbowed him in the back of the head.  Hasn't returned.

TallTitan34

He left under his own power though.   Hopefully it's not another concussion.

TallTitan34

Right in front of the ref like last year.  And he didn't get ejected.

It looked intentional to me.   I hope he gets a suspension.

LloydMooresLegs

Lots of odd man breaks- exciting game.

Might have a 6 on 4 here shortly.

EDIT:  Didn't get that far.  6 on 5 coming up.

TallTitan34

NHL is reviewing the hit right now according to WGN.
