During the last mayoral election in Phoenix, all three major candidates were Marquette alum.

Isn't the wife of the Govenor of St.Thomas an MU alum and we won the Paradise Jam. Not that one thing has anything to do with the other, but perhaps a good omen that the Mayor is an MU alum.

Does not surprise me. Phoenix is a ton of transplants from the NW suburbs of Chicago - and 40% of MUs enrollment comes from those suburbs.

Greg's from Arizona originally if I recall. '92 grad. Good guy.

Got to know him while I dated one sister, he the other.  The other sister (one he dated) I believe was a model.
