Goose, thanks for the response.

My "fraud" comment was based on you saying something to the effect of....I highly doubt someone in the inner circle would waste time posting here.

Hey....I enjoy your posts.  However, IMHO, that last post sounded like you were questing BD.  Perhaps I misunderstood you.....like your description of Buzz as "slippery".  ;D

Buzz is not going to share the details on what happen in WV because he views these as family (team) issues and he is not going to budge on that, so I am not going to betray that. What I can say is that what happened was a simple minor infaction of a team rule, that is it. But Buzz laid out the rules and the consequences at the start of each season.  What I will tell you is that it is not:

1, Todd taking them out on the town,,,
2. Drinking or drugs
3. Involving Girls
4. Anything illegal.

Hmmmm.  So, I guess that the "rumor" going around "on campus" about a bar fight that was posted here during the game, was, indeed, completely fabricated, full of s***, and irresponsibly posted on here.  Many thanks to adding your voice into calling these people out.  This one, specifically:

Wide spread rumor on campus that this has nothing to do with being late to practice.  More like trouble in a bar in Milwaukee.

My Dad taught me not to argue with idiots because they will drag you down to their level and then win out of experience.

Words to live by, for sure.  But it's kind of difficult to not warn people who are deeply huffing fumes from the Speculo-Tron Rumor Maker 5000X.

On a positive note DG is planning to play on Wed...because it is "leap Year Day", he figure it has to help his vertical...should know more Tuesday.

If this is the case (and based on your track record, I have no reason to doubt), then it will be quite the awesome, Leap Day William based miracle.  (Pretty sure it won't be too much trouble for me to avoid getting poked in the eye or my hair pulled since I'll be wearing plenty of blue and gold.)   Glad that Sheesh is just able to make it back to play at all after that bad fall at 'Nova.

My opinion of slippery may be out of the norm. I think slippery in this case is good. I think Buzz knew that his dance was over the top before he did. The smirk was off the charts to me. He follows that up with a proud pad of the back to himself on national TV. I love it. All attention moving forward is on him with opposing fans. Al always had the spotlight on

You can be assured that this dinosaur that still has Al pictures in his office loves Buzz. I love his shtick and I love direction of the team. Hands down the best coach since Al in my opinion and best salesman of the program. That nut will get me to open the check book for the school.

Holding kids out and suspending kids are two different things. Coaches hold kids out for a ton of reasons. Being suspended is not something we have seen at MU in all my years of watching. Why being held out means nothing to me, as long as not legal issue. BD very well be right on the money.
I don't know where or how the word "suspended" came into play.  Perhaps MU said they were suspended for the half.  I believe, though, the term may have been misapplied here.  I suspect the 4 were held out for a half for disciplinary reasons.  Somewhere - either in communication to, or maybe the broadcast itself, "suspended" was used.  I don't believe it is the correct word.

real chili 83

Goose, I have no doubt about your support of Buzz, and all other things Warrior.  It's just that a few posts left latitude for interpretation.  No big deal.

I do remember a post you made very early on in the season.  It was something to the effect of....."we got the f***in horses this year to win this". Looks like you are spot on!   ;D

Go Warriors!!!

Lennys Tap

So if you're "held out" for a semester and your scholarship isn't renewed (Hazel) that's less serious than being "suspended" for half a game? It's quibbling over semantics and couldn't be any more foolish.

Goose

Lenny,
Agreed on not being a big deal. My point is simple, this is a board to discuss all things MU ball. If the program is under a watchful eye by school I do think it is noteworthy. I have no interest in reason for suspensions. I have a very high interest in winning and becoming an elite program.

I am the idiot (or one of the idiots) that guessed that Todd took the guys out on the town.  I'm glad I was wrong and I apologize for that.

You have any links of Buzz reaching out to the WV media to apologize for the dance?  If they have been posted here, I have not seen them.

84  the below is not directed at you. But answers your question.

I have not seen anything, but haven't looked..I am only going off what Buzz told me....there now you guys know everything and I am out of here...I never shared any info that was shared in confidence, but yet was limited in who knew it. I thought the folks on this site would appreciate it..instead it becomes a string of left handed complements and others just calling me a liar.  Also as FYI it was not Buzz that told me about DG..he would never share that and I would never ask.

Just so we can be clear I would be glad to share my last correspondence with buzz as a private message with any of the mods if they want it so you know I only shared the truth...but either way I am done.

I am not saying you should take everything at face value but let the facts speak for themselves,

I was the only one to share the Dx and degree of the sprain, that there was no tear and there would be no surgery.
Shared on 3 occasions that he was out for games 1-3 days prior to the game even when others were sharing he might play including the JS reporter.
Said he had his uniform for the ND game, but would not play and it was the first game he did not wear street clothes on the bench.

Either I knew what I was talking about or I was a really good guesser..

Crap I think I just broke my Dad's rule.....good bye and GO WARRIORS hope to see some of you in New Orleans

Goose,

Didn't want to leave the impression I was calling you out.  In fact, with the changes in school and AD administration it is clear Marquette is going to be more upfront and open with actions than in the past, even though the discipline or punishment was doled out behind the scenes previously.  This is good for PR, something the past administration may not have been.  There is a change across the board not just in Athletics.

That said, don't expect full disclosure folks.  In fact, if you want to check your own kid's grades or health records today even though you pay the tuition, forget it unless they as adults agree to share...so folks don't expect to know DJO was 5 minutes late to practice.

Also, great to see Williams obviously has full support of the new Williams with the multiple high fives on a vixtory under the agreed upon right actions by those in charge.

I actually agree with Goose here. I appreciate BD's insight and if he is telling the truth, I hope he stays. But in this forum, he's also another (albeit valuable) poster. We can question him, as long as we are being fair and polite. Goose isn't out of line here.  BD does only have 60 posts, its not absurd for Goose or anyone else to question his sources.

Do find out funny that someone with 60 posts is so highly regarded. Usually those folks are raked across the coals..unless they say what everyone wants to hear. Find it harder to believe that anyone that really is in the inner, inner circle would waste time posting on here.

So number of posts get respect on this site?  Interesting.  So if Buzz himself created an account and began posting on here we would have to wait until he had 1,000 posts to take him seriously?  Some people here are hilarious.  Not trying to pick on 4ever here, but he has a ton of posts, about 95% of which are completely sarcastic and may of them jokingly mocking other posters.  So when he responds to somebody's story about Buzz sitting a guy for the first half and telling him on the bench that "he would get him in" during the 2nd half and he says "Frozena got the cold tit?" you guys really believe that Frozena was the player the story was about, because a poster with a ton of posts was the one who posted that?

Some people are REALLY dumb here.

Gotta love the people who are too proud to appreciate actual good information for once on this board and run the few posters who contribute valuable information away.

Goose

Wades world,
If Buzz is posting on here he has too much time ion his hands.

BD
Please continue to post. Many on here very much respect your opinion and at the least others look forward to hearing it. My no stretch am I saying you are wrong, only provide more details than implying you know what Buzz is doing.

If you want to know my place in MU ball history I will gladly share it.

Goose

Do not run away. If you are confident in more than who is dressing for game....stay in the game. Awesome job on the DG updates, now take it to the next level. I get bashed here daily and keep posting, you get stroked off and run. Keep providing updates and earn your stripes. I am not against opposing opinions.

A couple things...

First, I'm glad for what you've been posting. Like you said, either you know what you're talking about or you're a good guesser, but regardless of which is true (I strongly suspect the former) it's been valuable to us on this site.

Second, don't take the Internet too seriously. My fiancee finally signed up for FaceBook last week. Now she's getting offended at what people write in responses to news articles on the various pages, like Fox 6, NBC 4, etc. I told her the same thing I'd like to tell you: don't take this personal. There are stupid people out there. There are people that won't appreciate what you offer, even when it's of value to them. And that's not just the Internet, that's life.

Go work in any job out there and I guarantee you that there will be people that take you for granted, people that you help and yet still seem bitter at you. Whether it's as a clerk at a retail store, an administrative assistant that makes things go behind the scenes, or the lone bartender at the busy bar struggling to keep up with everyone's drink orders.

In general, when you do good work, 1 in 10 people will tell someone about it. When you do lousy work, 1 person will tell 10 people about it. The nature of humanity is that we are more likely to complain. So if you get 2-3 compliments for every 10 complaints, you're well ahead of the natural curve. Embrace the good, let the bad run off your back like water off a duck, and you'll live a much happier life, and definitely navigate the Internet far more successfully.

Canadian Dimes

Bigdaddy... I appeciate all the info u have stated.  And as far as the speculation that is what happens on message boards... People hear rumors etc and the speculation begins.  Personally i dint participate in it but that sure isnt gonna stop it.  Go to the nd or lsu football boards and it is 1000000 x's worse.
However,  i would suggest if u do have connections to the program, that although info is appreciated, i would suggest you dont post it.  It can bring no good.  And prolly only bring bad things ultimately for u.  Maybe feel free to post but i would not offer any non public info.

BD, we all enjoy your posts....at least most of us.  ;D

Just know, there will always be someone who takes issue with anything you post....anything.  It's what happens on the Internet.

Dimes is right....you might want to think twice about posting inside scoop.  As much as we all like it, it may not be worth the hassle for you in the long run.....it's your call.

They were late for practice. Big Daddy, if I'm wrong feel free to correct me.

I've got pretty good sources myself.

Big Daddy, next time you have a personal conversation with Buzz, can you please ask him to recruit and sign a 6 ft 8in, 230lb bada$$, enforcer, power forward........

On the same note as others, thanks for the updates which appear to be credible and you don't have to justify your existence.

Big Daddy's posting hours reinforce the idea that he is a legitimate source as he doesn't post anything outside of normal business hours with the exception of weekend days. As for the rest of us, we have no governor's over our hours. Thanks BD.

Good thing you're still a student, you have a lot to learn.  What has the guy revealed that would give "MUBB" opponents a competitive advantage?  He seems to have some pretty good information to me.

This post screams "LOOK AT ME!"  Are you also one of the meatheads chanting "AUTOMATIC" while your own, home team shoots free throws?

Tool.

What if BD84 was credible and Cincinnati read that Davante Gardner was playing on Wednesday? Do you think that's information the basketball team wants released by anybody other than a team official? Do you understand the ripple effect information leaks have within the program? At best, a lot of trust is lost within coaches and other staff.

And feel free to look into my posting history. You'll see I vehemently opposed the idiot that admitted he was chanting that at the BC.

What screams "LOOK AT ME" is somebody that's leaking (or pretending to be leaking) info on a message board. Do you think this guy cares about your knowledge of Davante Gardner's injury status? No, he's begging for attention (whether he is credible or not) and members like you are giving it to him.
