Did you ask him for an autograph?

Silkk the Shaka

I might need psychological therapy if he's out more than a few games.  Hopefully it's nothing.

MileHigh

Hate to see another big man get hurt.  Hoping for the best for him.

But playing a Seton Hall team that came out of the gates hot and has cooled off since...Jamil and Juan, may be your time to shine.  If Ox is limited, maybe a blessing in disguise for Juan.  Some more minutes and experience.

LON

If he can't go tomorrow at least he'd be able to absolutely avoid Herb Pope and his obsession with jelly beans...

Gulp.  Me too.  Agreed, hopefully it's something precautionary, like Wes' walking boot a few years ago.

It seems that college basketball (NCAA?) should disclose this injuries in a timely manner.  Otherwise bettors can get "inside information" about who might not be playing.

This is why the NFL, NBA, MLB etc.  have an injury report.

And yes, college basketball betting is a huge business which is why we see point shaving scandals every couple of years.  The NCAA cannot pretend betting does not exist, that makes it worse.

Um, whats the line on the SH game?
All this talk of rights.  So little talk of responsibilities.

YUP.  We'll need some big minutes from Juan, and possibly Jamail.

After Pope, Seton Hall is short on quality big men, so this is as good a time as any for this to happen.  Got to have DG for ND on the weekend, though.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

Quote from: muguru
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

From what I heard he has no boot on, just the crutches. My friend said it seemed like he could walk, but was doing so gingerly.

Why would he have a boot on?

I also heard he did not have a cast on his arm.

Well, that's cause it's a knee injury.  Boots are for ankles and feet.

The fact that he can walk on it is good, but doesn't really mean anything.  He could have torn his ACL and be walking on it.

BrewCity83

I heard he's not wearing a neck brace, either.
The shaka sign, sometimes known as "hang loose", is a gesture of friendly intent often associated with Hawaii and surf culture.

Very true. Right now, there's no information regarding it... Paging Tom Enlund.

I was a watertower in the burbs that said "Save Davante."

Let me modify it so you guys can stop being 6 year olds... sorry I wasn't thinking when I posted that.

I will probably get in trouble for posting this, but IWB says that it is hyperextended.
Luke 6:45   ...A good man produces goodness from the good in his heart; an evil man produces evil out of his store of evil.   Each man speaks from his heart's abundance...

It is better to be fearless and cheerful than cheerless and fearful.

Clam Crowder

So that probably means he's gonna miss a couple of weeks, correct??

GGGG

If it caused no damage then he would be able to play as soon as he is capable of playing, which means yeah likely a couple weeks but who knows.

Clam Crowder

This stretch already worried me without Otule, but without Gardner as well this could be brutal. We need him back soon. We face Pope, Drummond, Oriakhi, and Gates in the coming weeks. Not a good time to be without our two bigs. Hopefully hell be back soon.
