Iowa might finish 4th in the conference this year.  They have some nice, veteran players that were close last year, but will put them in the NCAAs this year if they stay healthy.

Michigan State, Ohio State, Michigan, Indiana, Wisconsin.

Which two teams is Iowa better than?

A good win Thursday followed by a solid victory over ASU on the road and we start our climb back up.

Seems about right--a loss like that at home raises a lot of questions about how good this team is.  But, still given the benefit of the doubt to hang in the Top 25 to demonstrate that we belong there.  ASU game is pretty big for righting the ship--both for the team itself and the polls.

Glad we stayed in at 25. I like being on the crawl.

I say 25.

Creighton rolls to 4-0.  VCU, Michigan, and Louisville lose.

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

MU stays at #25 in today's AP.  Creighton up to #20.  UMASS sneaks in at #24.  ASU #34 in votes.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

MU82

Surprised but glad we stayed ranked. Hopefully, we will justify that ranking this week, starting tonight.

I'm only surprised because of the collective uncertainty around the team.  Thankfully (or not), the voters rarely drop a team unless they actually lose during a particular week.  My guess is that we need to win out this week to stay ranked.

Remain on the outside looking in for the Coaches Poll. Went from 26 last week to 28 this week.

Hunt had three BE teams in his top 25.  Atta boy Mike!

Ahhh... good guess.
You actually have a degree from Marquette?

No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.

RideMyBuycks

I think we stay at 25 in the AP if we draw Creighton on Sunday and take em down. This is starting to look like a team that belongs in the rankings.

PGsHeroes32

Yeah pretty simple here. Beat Creighton stay ranked right around 25

Lose and we are down a ways on others receiving votes.

Not sure it matters now. I think we'll be unranked either way.

If we're ranked, it'll be right around where we're at now. San Diego State's only loss is to the Arizona team that took out Duke today. Of course, the win looks less impressive when balloters see they have a 4-2 record, never mind that the only losses would be Arizona and us.

Will the BE even have a ranked team?
After beating Kansas, I think 6-0 Villanova has a good shot at being ranked.  Definitely if they beat Iowa today.

No where to be found.  Very understandable with 2 losses.

A victory on Saturday should get us back on the radar.

Congrats to Villanova for moving to 14th.

MU82

Didn't get a single vote. Nor should we have. Also 108th in RPI ... and though that obviously will improve gradually, this hasn't been the greatest 24 hours in recent MU hoops history.

Buzz has re-discovered the "chip." Time to roll.

108 in RPI speaks volumes to our prior overrated status. Hope we do improve.
