Proud to say I've never watched the Big 10 Network. I think I have to get it through an expensive upgrade with about 50 crappy regional sports networks. Pass.

After tonight's performance, I'm not loving thinking about where we are metrically, but with #4 Alabama losing we should move up with a win over Xavier. #5 Florida trails by 9 to Mizzou with 11 to play.

Way too early to even give a good guess. Assuming a win Saturday, I think we stay about the same. I think Kentucky, Kansas (if they beat ISU), and Michigan State (if they beat ILL) all have good cases to pass us. A few teams in front of us may fall behind us. If we lose Saturday, I think we plummet to the 13/14 range, which is in all honesty probably where we belong right now.

Hmm I thought it was pretty reasonable. Guessing the "where we belong" was the triggering phrase. Both NET and Kenpom have us right in that range so don't think it's that outlandish to say that if we dropped a Q2 home game while numerous other Big 12, SEC, and Big 10 teams are getting ranked wins, we would naturally fall closer to that range. But still a lot of "ifs" before next Monday, hence why I said it was too early to tell.

But what holds my interest is the 3 game set UC, @STJ, @CR. Obviously we want three wins...but what will be our position be, win or lose.

If Kentucky beats Bama they will jump us. If Kansas had beaten ISU at ISU and not screwed up against K-State they would have jumped us. ISU won tonight so we won't know. I agree that MSU isn't likely to pass us  unless they absolutely demolish Illinois. All this assuming a win against X of course.
