In all seriousness, students are very aware of the history of the Warriors, of course, but we decided to attend as Golden Eagles. Dwyane Wade and Wes Matthews are Golden Eagles. I embrace the history, and can even accept using "Warriors" on occasion, but I'm a Golden Eagle.

I am currently a Marquette student and will never call myself a Golden Eagle.  Warriors forever.  Given the opportunity to call yourself a Warrior, I don't understand why you would ever call yourself a Golden Eagle.
