WVU nice 9-0 run to end half tied at 40.

Wow, I'm very concerned for Benny.  Being able to mimic Myron Medcalf's writing so closely implies an oncoming case of dementia.

Clemson-WVU has been a great game so far. Hard to root for WVU, but would love to see the BEast represent.

Or a Belmont Bruin - at least today

Really, Louisville? This is just pathetic to watch. Way to represent the Big East, Cardinals  :-\

agreed. i know it's early, but come on. too bad they couldn't shoot like this against us...

BME to MD

Anyone watching the Louisville game?  Is Morehead playing great defense or is Louisville just shooting bricks?

Louisville's shooting is bad, but what's really killing them is a dose of their own medicine. Morehead State is clamping down with a great full-court press. Won't help now that Siva has three fouls in the first half. They need to stop turning the ball over and trim down on the fouls. Morehead State simply looks like the better team.

EDIT: Also, Faried is killing them on the offensive glass. I remember hearing before the tourney that he was probably the best mid-major player in the country. He looks like it today.

Clemson just blew it with back to back turnovers at mid-court with 1:30 to go.

BME to MD

Thanks Brew.  ESPN is still showing Siva with 2 fouls - must be delayed.

Has been close to live.  The details page has been good so far too for every game.

Well, there goes my perfect bracket, took all of one game. At least it was a Big East team winning that upset my bracket.

I'm still perfect, but maybe only for another few minutes.  Come on, ODU...

Wow! What a finish by Butler. And I'm 0-2...not boding well for my brackets.

JamilJaeJamailJrJuan

That Butler win just screwed some. Some of the "experts" thought ODU would beat Pitt. Hah.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

All of that in the first half, and no:

"Pitino's having problems with Morehead"
"Pitino struggling against Morehead"
"Pitino just can't figure out how to get to Morehead."

C'mon Raferty... show some humor here.

Louisville starting to look like they'll pull this out, but man, that Faried is a really, really damn good player. Exactly the kind of guy Marquette could use. Incredibly strong in the post, good defender, and an unbelievable rebounder. I'd kill for a guy like that with our Warriors.

I almost think you are joking, given the physical (especially hairstyle) and game similarities between he and Jae Crowder. I really hope Jae is watching this game and thinking, "I can become a double-double machine like Faried."

nyg

Butler buzzer beater
Morehead buzzer beater
Temple buzzer beater.
Kentucky only up 1 at half.

And it is just starting.  Besides brackets, this is AWESOME.

I really like Crowder, but he's nowhere near as good as Faried inside. But this is a guy averaging 17.6/14.5 on the season. Hard for anyone to match that.
