I really like Crowder, but he's nowhere near as good as Faried inside. But this is a guy averaging 17.6/14.5 on the season. Hard for anyone to match that.

Right, and any team would like a player like Faried. Watching him play, though, I was struck by the similarities with Crowder, and was fascinated by the idea that Crowder could have those kinds of numbers. Maybe it's easier for me to dream about one of our own guys developing that way than it is to believe that one will just arrive. Anyway, we are thinking the same way.

This has nothing to do with anything but I am surprised Chico has not yet posted it since he claims to speak Japanese...the abbreviation for Northern Colorado appears to be UNCO...this is the Japanese male vernacular for crap. I could help but laugh everytime I see that on the ESPN bracket...

Warthog - a bit off topic here but, might I please request a very positive Haiku tomorrow prior to our victory?  Thanks.

Does anyone know where the UK v Princeton game is being held? The floor says USF (and I know they were doing a renovation) but the areana looks different. Even this year the Bulls played in a complete dump and if this is it they did a great job. It really looks great.

Brandon Knight goes 0 for 7 from field, then makes an awesome play to win game.

How many more buzzer shots are there today.  Insanely good television.

1)  I thought you were ignoring my posts?  Sad to see you not honor your code....or color me equally surprised.

2)  I said I took several years of Japanese in college and graduate school.  I also took several years of Spanish and lived in Peru for two years and Panama for two years.  That doesn't mean I'm running around the house saying Hola or Konichiwa to my kids whenever I see them.

Yes but is it South Floridas arena?

No.  USF is just the host.

Crowder is nothing compared to Faried.  He's not nearly as athletic/talented and not nearly as aggressive.  Crowder has often been a non-factor for MU during the second-half of this season.

He's an average college basketball player...nothing more and nothing less.

His stats would indicate he is a little better than average. Average would be, say, Joe Fulce. The third best player on a top 50 team is not an "average college basketball player". In fact, what a stupid comment.

I would take the Rick SLU program right now.

Calm down genius.  It was his first year playing Div 1, and he dominated at times in easily the best conference in NCAA, (ask WVU).

Regardless of how he compares to Faried, you're post is nonsense.  Par for the course though, so I'll credit you for being consistent.

Tough way to go out. Terrible play there to end it thought. Didn't even get a shot off when they had three seconds from half court.

Looked oddly familiar, didn't it?

TruTV not in HD is stupid, but I like the 4 channel setup

Me too....some innovative company did that for the last 8 years but the NCAA decided this year not to do it.  Go figure.

And some recommend Stallings as a Buzz replacement if he leaves.

Holy #$@%^!  How can Badger fans enjoy this????

Badgers are 5-12 on FG's so far in the first half.  At this rate they MIGHT end the first half with less than 15 FG attempts.

I have got to find my wife's knitting needles so I can poke out my eyes.

The game is starting to heat up, though.  I turned my head for 5 minutes and I missed a basket.  They may win, but damn they are difficult to watch.

So Wisconsin is painful to watch.  If they win, at least their fans get to celebrate a victory.

If MU's athleticism leads to a loss tomorrow, what good did being aesthetically pleasing get them?

Give me an NCAA win and I'm happy, regardless of how painful the game was to watch.

I'll never understand the bitching about how Wisconsin plays, when they've achieved much more than MU in recent years.

I would again in a New York second.  Recruiting to Vanderbilt, one of the premier educational institutions in the USA, is a tough gig. This is university that doesn't even have an athletic department.

If Buzz leaves, I'd be all over the Stallings bandwagon.  Midwest ties, solid recruiter, smart basketball, etc, etc.
