If JP is unhappy at UNC (and that IS where he's going) and decides to transfer, UW will be the destination.  He would need to transfer a few more times after that before MU would come into the discussion.

So not only do you know where's he's going, but you know where he'll go if he's not happy where he's going.  You = ultimate insider

We'll know on Wednesday.  If he's at our game vs. Cincinnati, I like our chances.  If not, I won't expect much on Thursday.

Then why has he kept coming here? Why come to the Syracuse game if he has no interest in Marquette? Just to keep the rumor mill buzzing? I definitely think he's going to UNC, but if we have zero chance, and less chance than Becky, can someone give a logical and well-reasoned argument why?

I just think it's good PR.  Why seem like you're dissing MU when you don't have to.  And he does root for MU as a fan, he just has no interest in going to school there.

You think it's good PR? Are you handling his recruitment? Are you Trevor Trimble? So basically, you're just saying "he's not coming here because I don't think he is and would sooner go to Wisconsin than Marquette" with no rational reasoning or argument why.

Again, I'm looking for a logical and well-reasoned argument why, preferably with some quotes or cited articles from legitimate sources (read: not a UW message board) that actually justifies anyone saying he'd sooner go to UW than MU.

Nothing personal, but all you're giving me is an opinion with no apparent basis in fact. He visits Marquette for every single major NCAA event. Does UW not watch Selection Sunday? Do they not have an annual Madness event? Why wouldn't he go to those? I'll agree that the timing and the general tendency over the past year or so indicates UNC, but there is absolutely nothing I have seen to indicate that UW would be favored over Marquette, and all the evidence, basing it off Tokoto's own behavior would indicate Marquette is probably #2 on his list, and certainly #1 on the list of state schools.

I think it is a joke. It has been said that JP wasn't there and they are talking about the recruit who was in red behind the bench. I'm not sure who he is, but so far we've found out it is not Tokoto or Mayo, so that should narrow it down quite a bit

If JP attends Selection Sunday with the MU team this season, I'd be 100% certain he's coming to MU.

That kid is at more MU games than I am. I can't think of many this year that I haven't seen him, including Sunday. Does that mean anything? No.
