http://www.yelp.com/biz/speed-queen-bbq-milwaukee Try speed queen, though you may not make it out of there alive if you go at night, it is in a shady area.
It's best to call ahead so you get your order right away.

La Merenda looks interesting. I just bookmarked it and will check it out. Thanks.

Coquette Cafe. Great atmosphere. Good to great food at reasonable prices. French but not too French. Not stuffy. More upscale casual.  In The 3rd Ward.

Good call.  I always forget this one...I think we'll be heading in that direction tonight.

I also agree on Sobleman's for a great burger but make sure you get there early if you want a table and don't want to park way down the street.  If you want a real dinner, Mr. B's Steakhouse in Brookfield.

VegasWarrior77

Where is Sobleman's located?  Sounds like a good place to get a burger.

Its on St. Paul, a little ways east of 27th.

VegasWarrior77

Thanks!  I moved to Vegas in 1993.  I miss Cheeseland - but I don't miss the weather!

Close to Miss Katie's Diner?  (Is it still there?)

Miss Katie's is on Clybourn.  Sobleman's is down in the valley.  could probably throw a rock from miss katies and hit sobleman's.

If you can do that, Da Bears can use you.

I drive up from Chicago for the games and am usually cutting it so close that dinner possibilities are limited to Turners, Bradleys or the Bradley Center itself. I'm coming up early today so I'll have time to enjoy a "real" dinner. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

T.  You're really meant for Real!  :D  Now, Karen may have the taste for a fine restaurant but you're Real!!   I'm not a big Milwaukee restaurant fan, 5 O'Clock's steaks are old, Carnevor is typical steakhouse fare and over priced, Mo's is the same.  I like Bartolotta's Bistro or Sanfords.

mu_hilltopper

Well, Lenny's Tap .. where did you go?

Murffieus

Have dinner at Maders while parking your car in their lot right next door-----includes continual parking for the game as well. Only one short block from the BC !

Tribby

The Knick, inside The Knickerbocker Hotel. It's easily the best restaurant that nobody knows.

fasteddie

Sobelman's has a great burger, so does Branded at the Ironhorse Hotel, Stack'd and Elsa's that are relatively close to the BC.  Check out more of the best burgers in Milwaukee at this local site: http://bestburgersinmilwaukee.com/

Wow, there's a website for everything now. :)

La Merenda is awesome.  The owner/chef is also a former team manager.
