I think a 6 is highly possible.  Certainly no lower than a 7.  Look at the field.  Our RPI is only going to go up over the next two and 1/2 days as Pitt, UConn, Lousville, Nova, WVU and SU slug it out and helpp increase our SOS.

i've got to think a 6 at worst.  yes, we've got losses, but we just lost to Nova by 1 and but for a brain cramp on Jerel's part for the last 40 seconds, we win.  after being down 16 at half, hopefully the selection committee gives us an easy road to a game to play Nova again.

Agree, 7 no higher...this team couldn't have picked a worse time to collapse.  1 for 6 since DJ's departure and a rookie coach is not going to play well at all.  

This is still a very good team, but what breaks my heart is that it was a great team capable of beating anyone in the top 10 and a threat to go deep in the tournament.  They can hang with the elite for a while, but the ability to finish has sadly evaporated.

VU is 10-2 so far

MU is like a 30 in the RPI
VU is 14

VU took MU 2 out of 3 this year

VU has a better conference record than MU

MU has a star player injured
VU is healthy

VU should probably be seeded 3 or 4.  MU would be lucky to get a 6.  5 would be a miracle.  Expect a 7.

I too think our team is as good as Nova's but the committee's criteria suggests that they get a 3-4 and we get a 6-7.  Them's the breaks.  Had we won today, the story would have been different, but not so different.  Perhaps 1 seed drop by nova and one seed gain by MU.
