No surprise this is a short thread. High volume posters must be overlooking it.

What's the typical phrase here? Character revealed? Is that it?

The worst of them all is the moderator of another site who told those wanting a coaching change to shut up and deal with the fact that Wojo was not going anywhere.  This was up through yesterday.

Wow, how unplugged can a supposedly "insider" be so wrong?

PointWarrior

And now all he can say "great time to make a coaching change if you are going to do so".

Schill for Marquette who obviously is not in the loop as he portrays.

SEAT belt I'm with you man. In a perfect world you post something people question it if they don't believe it and leave the vitriol at the door. We're supposed to be fans of the same program and weather we agree or disagree the language and hate spewed at people on this board has gotten ridiculous. I just started actually participating a slight bit after reading almost since the inception of this board. It's at all time lows and thankfully having learned how to block certain people who just spew the hate here it's a tad more readable.
Thanks for the heads up. In my heart I thought the university had no other choice to save what's left before complete collapse. Money is important and even if the buyout was big, the long term financial consequences were bigger if it's a complete crap team.

Figures that a certain sarcastic poster, who had no trouble posting each a.m. to mockingly ask why wojo hasn't been canned yet, hasn't weighed in.

I have been saying for months:

If you raise / announce 37 million and still fire 39 non tenured staff, firing a basketball coach is just another day at the office.  It's a little embarrassing that so many MU alums couldn't put 2 & 2 together.

All the people citing financial issues are chicken littles with very little understanding of the real world.

I took some serious roasting here in the last few days for being the first one with inside information on wojo being canned.   Its a small community and not hard to know people in the MU inner circle.

You guys are welcome and you know who you are!

This crapposter is ready to receive the penitent amongst this forum.

And lastly.

Wojo has no mojo and he is bout to go joe.

While you are slapping yourself on the back, do you want to take ownership for some of these gems:

buzz is a dumb coach, i should be coaching,  even if we pull out here

jimmy butler might be the softest SR. "team leader" that i have seen in a long time at MU.

agree with most of those points but jimmy butler,

all he did tonight was show how soft he is both on offense and defense,,,,, prove me wrong!    olay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a coach with little control of his players on the court, taking stupid shots, lack of hustle, lack of motivation.

I never commented on your thread or questioned your "source," I did check your posting history though (as I had you on ignore and didn't know why) and when I realized that your entire posting history is trashing Marquette players and coaches, I really didn't care if your source was real or not. Legit source or not, these are the types of reasons why someone might not take you seriously.

You are incorrect. Marquette wouldn't have made the move on its own. Donors stepped up to make it happen.

I never said donors weren't in play.  They very much were. My point is that university financials were not going to sidetrack this.  The only thing that could sidetrack this were donors.

Spaniel with a Short Tail

Posters who said that they did not think Wojo would get fired this year do not owe you an apology. Posters who called you out as being incorrect would be the only ones who do. I do not know how many those would be because so many Nojo posters kept conflating the two. (Which was kind of irritating.) Your prescience does provide you credibility going forward.
