The Sultan

Theo will be making $$ overseas for a long time.  American bigs always do.  Chris Otule is still working it.

Or Theo could be one of those that thrives at football a la Julius Peppers.

Julius Peppers was a total college football stud and was drafted #2 overall.

He just happened to be good enough at basketball to earn minutes at UNC as a walk-on.

Oh?  Did he tell you that?
You offered to bet.....I accepted.
What do you want to bet? $50?

Oh?  Did he tell you that?

You've been harping on Theo or some of the other seniors returning for a few weeks now.  I believe Wojo stated in a radio interview a while back that none of this year's seniors would return next year.  Isn't that enough?  What more would you need?  Theo isn't coming back.

DJ played like the player I hoped that we were getting.  That shot will come.  Even on his misses, I said that's a nice shot/nice touch.
He must lead us, and last night showed that he is more than capable. Im thrilled.
Carton has poor form
on that outside shot. Release is way too low...chin level. Easy to defend. Granted, even with bad form DJ is better than Torrance. And, with his athleticism he's more of a slasher anyway. Next year frosh Cam Jones has that same very low release. Fortunately he might be more of a Vander-type cut, slash & dash.

That's not exactly what he said.  On Jan 14 he said his expectations were that all of the seniors would go on to play pro.  Listen yourself starting at 17:00

Yep. He was a freak athlete who was also a track star in HS, but football was always his future. He's thinking more a Jimmy Graham type.

Especially Asia. O'Tule actually played at much higher levels (top tier in France and Germany) than you'd expect, but then migrated to Asia. The Japanese/Korean/Chinese leagues are filled with athletic big guys who were decent in college but then headed to Asia and became stars. It's the kind of player that just isn't produced a ton there locally. For international basketball, guys bounce around a lot, but you'll see guys head there and stick around the same team for quite awhile.

Hard to see him going to the association with that. He needs to try a Markus like summer camp and fix that thing. With a legit outside threat next year he could really have a special season.

Yeah, I'd venture a guess that someone -- not sure who -- is going to pay Theo to play basketball next year.
Hopefully he can stay healthy, get the knee(s) issues fixed. These massive wraps he needed on the bench...
If you think for one second that I am comparing the USA to China you have bumped your hard.
