Kolek planning to go pro
The new season of Gangster Capitalism is nuts (in a good way).
Bumping this. Have a 7 hour car ride this afternoon and just caught up on all my podcasts. Any good ones people have recently listened to? I mostly listen to sports podcasts and a couple murder mystery ones (Up and Vanished was my favorite so far).
I absolutely love anything done by chef David Chang. I listen to his podcast “The Dave Chang Show” regularly. He is so smart. Other food and food culture shows I listen to are “Proof” and “The Sporkful.” My other always up to date is “I’m Okay You’re Okay I’m Not Okay You’re Not Okay” with Bob Schneider and Clint Wells. Bob Schneider is one of my most favorite song writers, and he is creative, funny, cringy, thought provoking. It’s mostly light.Non-food, I love “Gangster Capitalism,” I really got into “Louder Than A Riot,” of course “Revisionist History,” “The Pitch, “In the Dark,” “More Perfect,” “Opening Arguments,” “Philosophize This,” “Reply All,” “Radiolab,” “The Argument,” “Broken Record,” “Code Switch,” “Decoder Ring,” “Invisibilia,” “The Skeptics Guide to the Universe,” “The Stoop,” “You Are Not So Smart.”I like crime podcasts, too, so “Serial,” “Cold,” “Broken Harts.” And, I’ve listened to several business ones from Wondery. I like quick hitters like “Daily Stoic” and daily ones from NPR, too like “Planet Money.” So many. A few on my list that I haven’t listened to yet are “Slow Burn,” “Uniquely Milwaukee,” “World’s Greatest Con,” “Stuff the British Stole,” “The Just Enough Family,” “Swindled,” “Stuff To Blow Your Mind,” “Still Processing.” I have a bunch more in the library.
The only thing I've seen David Chang on is Who Wants to be a Millionaire when he won the million dollars for his charity. He seemed like a really cool guy, so maybe his podcast will be the one I listen to on the way home. Thanks!
