Per Kevin Sweeney @CBB_Central on TwitterNational champion Kansas is headed to the 2023 Maui Invitational, source tells @SINow. Full field:GonzagaKansasMarquettePurdueSyracuseTennesseeUCLAChaminadeLOADED
Wow!!Tremendous field! We need to step it up and get a well rounded roster with snipability, physicality, hoppability, zoomability, swishability, switchability, invincability, and Shakability, to inflict relentless damage on these teams.
How much coffee did you drink before writing this?
I don't think Purdue is going to be all that in the future. The lost Steve Lutz and their defense dropped 50 + spots. Not to mention they will never find another Ivey.If they stay top 50, I bet theyll be happy.
Would people actually be inside versus enjoying Hawaii?
You can't do both? A day lasts 24 hours, even in Hawaii. If you sleep 6-8 hours, and go to a Marquette game for 2 hours, that leaves 14-16 hours a day to be outside. Depending on how long it takes you to use the bathroom each day.

Marquette played Chaminade with the Amigos. Eventually lost to Duke in the Maui Final. The last Gonzaga matchup was not in Maui, but a different tournament event. Can't remember which one. Maybe CBE?Edit:I was right, it was the CBE Classic.
Corrected.I have no results from Chaminade listed. Maybe because they aren't Division 1?
I'm not so sure about that. Edey, Morton, and Furst will all likely be seniors and I don't think any go pro early. Painter has proven pretty good at figuring it out, finishing top-30 in kenpom 13 of the last 16 years. He's done really well developing players. I don't think they fall off a cliff that fast, and the same could've been said about "they will never find another" when Carsen Edwards left.
Look who wants to go! https://twitter.com/BildeTV2/status/1511348186538983430?s=20&t=6oxGSRv0c9loIBXAH4Z65Q
I feel like Matt Painter is a seriously underrated coach. He's been at Purdue for 17 years and only missed the NCAA tournament 3 times. They've finished in the top 3 of the Big Ten 9 times, won the Big Ten 3 times, made 6 S16s and one E8. You have to go back 40 years to count as many Marquette NCAA tournament wins as his teams have won.Purdue will be a very solid team next season.
