Everyone this thread gets bumped, I think about the lost opportunity to name the thread "2023 Maui Wowie"
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

I think Edey goes pro.  He is a top Center on a Top 10 team.  I think he leaves for the early-mid first round.  He is 7-4 and averages a double double.  I think Purdue will still be good but not as good. I see them being the 4-6 best team on the list next year depending on what happens with other rosters.

Goes pro where, Europe? No floor stretching ability and I'm not sure he's mobile enough to defend in the NBA. He'd get a late second round flyer, but as we've seen with Tshiebwe and Timme this year, he could make more coming back to school.

Wait, is Chaminade not in that 2024 tournament? I see 8 teams, one from each P6 and Dayton and Memphis. are they not letting them play anymore?

Chaminade is playing every other year now, I believe.

Even years they play in “mainland” bracket. Odd years, Maui

I was not aware of this, thank you for informing me. Dunno why the Maui Jim Maui Invitational's own website couldn't lead me to that information.

Where will the team be?

Someone posted a really nice synopsis of Maui a while back but I don’t see it in this thread…

I'm in Maui for my honeymoon and on my 3rd different spot of the trip - Hyatt Regency in Kaanapali. Team stayed here in 2017. I highly recommend.

Stay in Lahaina. Not Wailea.

Ritz is dated but was almost the same price as Hyatt Regency.
