Kolek planning to go pro
Holy Fuk. It’s amazing. It’s real. This time out has been the most amazing time out ever. I feel like I’m clubbing.
So I'm pretty sure pumping artificial sound through the speakers is illegal on ncaa rules. I'm 100 percent sure turning off the lights on the stadium during a timeout is illegal.
TAMUI do know, Newsie is right on you knowing ball.
Again. Cup holders at urinals!!!!
Yikes! Are they self sanitizing cup holders? I don't trust people to wash their hands before touching anything else in the bathroom not to mention the "shake and grab" at the urinal. Again......Yikes!
I don’t know, I thought the music and MCs were way too loud. You couldn’t have a conversation with the person next to you at times. It took away from the experience for me. I don’t know that loud music makes a home court advantage.
As an old fart who graduated earlier this decade, I was very confused by the timeout. Very cool and disorienting, yes, but moreso becasue I can't imagine that was allowed during the game, during a media timeout. If so, it will make for very cool effect in the big games.Acoustics were interestingly good upstairs, but it sounded as though Wojo was mic'd up at times
I wondered what the coaches thought of having the lights out while they're in the huddle trying to draw up the next play.
There was someone close to a mic towards the end of the game who, instead of chanting "Let's go Marquette", was chanting "Let's go Matt Heldt". It was pretty funny.
Looked to me as if they had a spotlight on the huddle.
So, without sounding like an old mf'er, the PA/sounds are uncomfortably loud. And, do not like the entire 3-ring circus atmosphere that sporting events seem to compelled to throw on the crowd. MU basketball has fallen into lockstep with minor league baseball and NBA basketball.
I'll stick with my opinion on Gold. He'll be in foul trouble within the first eight minutes.
The female MC referred to us once as the "Eagles". WTF?
Agreed. I find the in game "hosts" obnoxious, especially the woman, who has a loud and shrill voice.
