No, we would be 2-point favorites at home. The 3-point swing goes from a neutral court. So...MU at Butler (-4)MU vs Butler (-1)Butler at MU (-2)
No...and after reading many many psosts from people on this board that do...I have to say I'm MUCH better off, if this is the type of "intelligence" a degree from MU gets you. It sure is on full display I will say that.
So we would be 1-point dogs against Butler at home? Um, I don?t think so. Vegas hasn?t gotten the memo yet...
Uh...Vegas writes the memo.
You are correct. Vegas makes their lines based on what the average bettor's perception is so they can try to balance their books and take the 10% vig. The professional linemakers have large staffs and oftentimes one or two people focus solely on one conference the whole season.
I like this line. MU is starting to put it all together and vegas hasn't caught on yet. Anyone have a favorite place to throw down some action?
I am curious about this myself. I'm not up to speed on state/federal laws governing this business. That being said, feel like I should be able to throw down a $10 bet in Illinois on this game without having to jump through a lot of red tape or have a clandestine encounter with a weathered bookie in a dark alley.
Wait about 6 months for SCOTUS to rule on Christie vs NCAA, you'll be able to go to Arlington and bet on MU next season.
God, dreams can come true.
Just like I thought that Wisconsin line was too high (I want to say Wisco -6.5 before King and Trice went down), I also think this line was too high. I was expecting more Butler -1/-2. Feel good about tomorrow and am making the trek south to Indy for it.
Bovada or Bet Online, but there are plenty of online sportsbooks if you really want to get a bet in.
First round at the Arlington sports book is on me.
