Not that it matters to anybody but me, but I made my first hole-in-one today.   Life is good.

A hole in one is not easy.  Congrats!

Now that Tiger is out for the rest of the year, you should make your move!

Congrats.  I have been fortunate enough to have two.  Frame the card and ball and register with Golf Digest.  Nice freebees.

Closest I've come was at Congo River Minature Golf; just lipped out.

Mildly to moderately embarrassed....

A real-life ace, though? Well done, sir.

Thanks.  Yeah, I was geeked.  It would have been more fun to see it go in.   The group in front of me saw it, and waited until we came up to tell me about it.    Slight rise in front of the green makes it impossible to see the hole from the tee.    So, drinks all around.   I can quit the game now that I have been to the mountaintop.   (Yeah, right)

Congratulations. I am still looking for my first. With the way I have been playing so far this year, its not gonna happen anytime soon.

What course were you playing?  Exact same story where I didn't see it go in, but the group on the tee box just went nuts...

I'll never forget it, #4 at South Hills CC, 115 yds, pitching wedge

A little dog-track in Grand Rapids called Gracewil.   36 Holes, with two 6100 yard 18's.   #9, west.   180 yards.   Tees up, pin toward the front, playing around 160 into a slight breeze.  7-iron with just a hint of a draw.   I saw one bounce, dead on line.   The couple said it bounced twice and rolled about 4 feet into the hole.   Happyhappy joyjoy

About 15 years ago, my sister got a hole in one .. I'd been golfing a good 10 years at that point, and was pissed, since I'd never done it.

So I went to a pitch-and-put par 3 course in the middle of the day .. was literally the only one on the course.  Probably hit 5-10 tee shots on each hole.

Never came close.
