I stopped caring about Crean when he stopped being the coach at Marquette. No battered wife syndrome here. I'm not disputing that he was a prick. Many coaches are.

I have heard from people who know Bo that he is a backstabber. I have personally heard stories from a guy who played for him at Plattville. To say he painted him in a bad light would be understating it. I know for a fact he told Wesley Matthews during his recruitment that Crean had accepted the head coaching job at Ohio State.

I can no more prove any of this then you can prove the Crean text story.

Butch, all you've done is state innuendo without backing it up so it's hard to take you seriously.  As a UW-madison fan, I would think you would want that bit of information going to the NCAA folks since IU will be competing against UW-madison not only for Jamil Wilson, but it would also be in violation of the rules anyway.  Or are you ok with cheating as long as it's Stu Jackson, et al?

There is no love affair for Crean...the man is gone.  Hoping he crashes and burns except when he plays UW-madison in which case I'll wish what my Wisconsin-madison brethren wished on MU's club this past year when they played ND (plane crash, etc).

the thing is, he'll get his minutes.  No offense to cubes or acker, but TT will be the back-up PG the day he steps on campus.  He can probably do everything acker can do offensively, and the mere fact he is 7 inches taller than MO gives him a big defensive advantage.  And if cubillan can't shoot, he basically worthless, as he still can't create shots for others or get to the rim (kinda go with each other actually).

Cuby made a great backup pg even when he couldn't shoot.  Only problem, as you mentioned with acker is size.  I wouldn't trade him for anyone, esp. given the energy he plays with.

You work in a noble profession....college coaching not so much.  Many of them are self centered dicks.

Chicos, it is true that many college coaches are self-centered jerks but what galls me about Crean is that he preached togetherness, family, team, etc... but bolted without so much as a by your leave. His hypocrisy is what is so troubling.

He made a commitment to many different constituencies but found it incredibly easy to simply walk away from every single one without any consideration. A man is judged by his word - all the rest is lace curtains and chocolate. I have 38 aviators in my squadron. If one if us says that he will do something then the other 37 have to trust that commitment implicitly. If one of us breaks ranks with his comrades he is of zero use to this Unit, the mission, and our brotherhood. Men must be able to rely and depend on each other, in combat and in garrison.

I think Majerus is an example of promoting an assistant coach that the fans needed to have patience with. Certainly, he did not have great success at MU. Three NIT trips after MU had been to the NCAA tournament something like 19 out of 20 years. He left MU under a a lot of pressure and critcism. Certainly, proved later to be a great coach. Sometimes timing is everything. Maybe, if Raymonds stays one more year, we would have got Wolf and Majerus could have taken over and had better results. Anyways a strong start does not guarantee that Buz will be a long-term success and a slow start does not mean that Buz we be a long-term failure. If he is a winner as he says he is he will come out on top either here or somewhere else. I would rather have it be here.
Let us see how the team looks after the November 09 recruiting class. That gives him two recruiting classes. by then we will know if we have the talent to compete in the Big East.

I don't know redforeman... I was told by someone who would know.  I could  not care less if you believe me because of your man crush. It's over. He is gone. I never posted this info on BN or BV because Crean is vindicative as heck.

Now I don't give a rip.  If you have followed my posts on BN my information is gold.  I don't give 10 percent of what I know. I have great sources at both schools  But if news is going to come out anyway in a day or so I scoop it.  In this case it is passe so I don't care.

Demanding it's called asking?  You are reading way too much into this.  Yes one person used the word proof, i think evidence, sources, where did the knowledge come from?  The reason you couldn't understand my post is probably because you had the same instructers as dayne and were busy hitting out of a gravity bong.

But i'll give it another go.  Just because this is a message board doesn't mean we throw away all the normal rules of human interaction.  no one said anything other than ask a complete stranger where they got some information from and you launched into a battered wife comparison and man crushes.  You are a bucth league person when it comes to interacting with a group of people.  If you would have approached this differently then you would have had a bunch of people on your side, here's what i would have said:

"Hey, i haven't posted here before but i have a lot of connections with both madison and mu and i've heard from several people who i consider reliable that Cread did ..."

ANd then we would have avoided all of this, but instead you were a cocky, immature, pompus, jerk.
