He did do a lot while he was here, but what are your wishes for Crean at IU?

If he never wins another game again it'll be too soon.
8 (11.9%)
I'm grateful for his contribution to MU, and I hope he is successful.
8 (11.9%)
I hope he flounders for 4-5 years and is eventually run out of town by IU's hillbilly fan base.
24 (35.8%)
I'm grateful for what he did here, but I hope he falls flat on his face at IU

I am grateful for what he did here at Marquette but I don't want him to suceed at IU.  I vote for that option.

I totally agree here...as much as I totally hate him right now.

A synonym for "unbelievable".

How about:      acrimony, animosity, animus, bad blood, bad will, bitterness, dislike, enmity, feud, grudge, hard feelings, hate, hatred, hostility, malevolence, malice, no love lost, resentment, spite, spitefulness, venom.

I voted for the 2nd option, but with one small caveat:

He's a dick for the way this went down. I hope we knock IU out of the tournament every year.

EDIT: He's a dick for the way this went down (How does the team find out through the media? What about Cottingham & Wild?) but I don't begrudge him for taking the job. He said it himself: It's Indiana.

That said, I hope we beat him in the first round of the NCAAs every year, assuming A) they're allowed to participate, and B) they qualify for the tournament.

Option 2...time to move on.

Crean definitely screwed up the way he handled it and that pisses all of us off, but he certainly is saying the right things about MU.  Sucks to be the jilted lover, just the way it is.  We're going to take someone's coach in the next two weeks and those people are going to be upset, tis the game

Are they going to be allowed in the tournament next year?

I kind of agree.
I have no animosity toward the guy and I think the pooh-poohing over how he handed his departure is nothing more than sour grapes.
That said, I like little more than to see someone find out the hard way that the grass isn't always greener.
