D'oh!!

Pray, each of you, that he does not return on Saturday for our game.  I'm already warning UCLA fans about him because they're not used to seeing him.

Chicago_inferiority_complexes

Jerel McNeal has just been given his first foul ... charging ... 6:55pm.

BrewCity83

Jerel and Lazar were just called for a double foul.  Jerel's 2nd.  6:56 pm

he better feel lucky I'm here in MKE and not out there. I gave him an earful out in NYC during the Pitt game, as did talltitan.  if he has us and does anything like he did in nyc, i'll be soooo mad!

Stanford is in the double bonus...... >:(

I knew today was too good to be true so far.

Anyone know how they handle referees? Pardner? I am thinking maybe he'll travel elsewhere to work a game tomorrow? And then somewhere else the day after that? Is that possible? If not, and they stick with the site - or most stick with the site, I've gotta believe we'll have him on Saturday, as the winner of this game will be playing UCLA, and I'd doubt they would have a ref work two consecutive games for the same team.

I also gotta believe they move them around so the gamblers/mob doesn't know what refs will be working what games.

BrewCity83

OK, I got a plan....

yous guys out in Anaheim, find out where Higgins is staying, and ambush him late tomorrow night.  Just snip his achilles...he'll be unable to go on Saturday.  It may even stop him for next year.

Who's with me?

Bring your own jar of Vasoline on Saturday. Guraranteed he'll be working our game.

I have this nightmare that Sam Young is calling some Stanford buddies and advising them to tell Higgins that they never travel when they ball-fake even if they do.  Higgins will buy it and it won't get called the whole game.

Well it should be easy to find him at the nearest bar right up until game time. Any volunteers to slip a little something to help him sleeo for a couple hours into his drink.

MUFanInGreenBay

These is by far the worse news of the day. Seriously, with how things went down last time Higgins officiated an MU game I cannot see them catching any breaks if he does their game on Sat. He'll call every touch foul possible on MU. I hate that prick so much. He just seems like a big a$$hole.

MileHigh

I would pray for Marquette, but even God can't do a thing against Tim Higgins.  The man hates catholics...

muwarrior87

now you're contradicting the basis of all catholic beliefs that God is all powerful.  He CAN stop Higgins, the question is, will He?

he's already fat, slow, old and constantly out of position.  why would he let an achilles stop him?

Hmmm ... good point.

Perhaps the only way to stop him is the Corleone-style dead hooker in the hotel room. I'm sure Mr. Higgins would be happy to develop a terrible case of the flu just before game time in order to keep that under wraps.

Well .. if there's a silver lining (Jerel just fouled out) for having Higgins (Burke just fouled out) ref our game tomorrow, (Ooze just fouled out), it's that maybe Stanford will be so impressed with Higgins, they'll "steal" him away from the Big East.

Wishful thinking.
Everyone knows UCLA controls who gets to officiate in the Pac 10.

if, by chance or some utterly fantastic miracle, we do somehow manage to pull out a win with higgins reffing, at least our key guys will be well rested for the next game... any chance we can just drive at higgins until we get HIM to foul out?

Maybe Higgins has been relieved of his duties following the BE tournament and he's there to apologize to Crean and the team?

hard to believe it's even been remotely announced.. they usually do not even hint at that until just before game time.
