We R Final Four

Quote from: Viper on June 06, 2026, 08:08:09 AMNigel is likely gone after this season. Maybe the Door Dash approach works. However...I would like to think Shaka & staff have a list of 10-12 pg's they'll aggressively pursue thru the portal next spring. Same regarding bigs, since they'll need to replace Fru. It's critical MU makes the tourney this year imo because another losing season and out-of-sight-out-of-mind sets in akin to Wisconsin football. Winning sells.
Always referencing U of W any chance you get.

Because really good players like Nigel want to play at elite programs.  See Blackwell, John.

Hard to quantify how dumb this comment is.

Im thinking Nigel will be a 1st rd pick if his game keeps movin' up as I anticipate it will. Or, and if not, another program similar to Blackwell leaving WeRFinalFour's beloved Wisconsin for the windfall with Duke.

Man you can't keep Wisconsin out of your mouth.......but we know you really HATE them.

Yeah, that's why Tyler Kolek and Kam Jones left early to be All-Americans elsewhere. It sucks that we never keep our best players.

It's already been explained here but...

Nigel is unlikely to leave early for the draft due to his size and because he will be highly paid in college.

There have been some players here that an elite program would have to loved to have yet they stayed.  Why would Nigel be any different?

And NJ has literally said if Shaka is here he'll be here.

Things change obviously but it isn't worth even a little bit of stress

Thanks for the condescending snark.

Believe it or not, I actually do know how to do general searches. But when the information I want is as specific as why a committed player is not being mentioned by the coach, that isn't likely to help much.

A board like this, and specifically a thread supposedly devoted to that player,
should be a good place to find something like that. But it is made more difficult when pages worth of off topic posts clog things up.

Thanks for the very long reply days later.

All it did was tell me you have ZERO idea how to find a specific word on a web page.

But I did enjoy that, while whining about posts unrelated to the main topic, you added to the problem!

Still can't believe Crowdis committed.
