I would imagine those would be the most likely, but I could see UConn being an option as well. If I had to guess, I would say Georgetown.

A few nice multi-home-game stretches for those of us who will be traveling halfway across the country: Jan 16-20 (DeP, CU); Jan 30-Feb 6 (But, StJ, GT); Feb 20-26 (UConn, SH, Nova). We'll definitely be making one of those trips, or maybe even two.

4 Sat home games and also a Fri, so folks hafta be pretty pleased about that.

My only real disappointment is that the game at Butler is during the busy Xmas travel period, dammit, so I'll probably be skipping that.

As Bill Murray or Carl Spackler on Caddyshack said if we hit Cooley with Bats they will lock us up and throw away the key. Oh wait wrong kind of bat

I count 5 Saturday home games (Xavier, DePaul, Butler, Georgetown, UConn)

Quote from: MUDPT on August 13, 2026, 03:07:05 PMBucks schedule out, they have one scheduled Saturday home game in January/ February/ early March which is January 30.

So, the Butler game will be an early day game.

Yeah, sorry about that. I was only looking at Jan-Feb for some reason. 5 is correct.

Must be pretty decent dates chosen for our games - far less Scoop kvetching than usual!

Nope, you miscounted, we also play a home game on the final date of the season  ;D

Seriously though, I like having 5 home Saturdays and a Friday to boot.

Sorry, I didn't get a chance to log on and complain sooner.

Though this isn't a schedule I'll complain about, it's just a strange one. I think we are primed to get off to a good start. Xavier will be tough, but Butler and Creighton are both winnable road games and the back to back Nova/UConn trips are the only truly daunting games through the end of January.

The home/away balance is odd. I'm glad we don't have any three-game road trips, but every road game is part of a back-to-back. That's uncommon. And two stretches of three in a row at home is also unusual. We've had three straight before, but I don't remember doing it twice in the same season (and in an 8-game overall stretch).

The first few weeks of February look like the toughest stretch. St. John's twice, NMD (Probably), at Providence, UConn.

My money is on Georgetown for National Marquette Day. No NFL that weekend, and the Hoyas were on 10 conference Saturday broadcasts last year; 9 of them were on national channels (Fox, FS1, TNT/Tru TV). In addition, unlike UConn, the Georgetown tickets won't sell themselves. Butler is the same weekend as the NFL conference championship games and while UConn is after the Super Bowl, Shaka's comments about the team not being able to handle the mental pressure (or however it was worded) the last time we lost to UConn on NMD makes me think we won't pick them.

That final game hosting DePaul in Chicago could be meaningful for both teams in terms of tourney placement, love that as what could be a high-pressure regular season ender.

Amped about the Nova Friday home game. Gonna a make a bday weekend out of it!

ESPN official release today, the Virginia tip is at 11 and the A&M tip at 4. Matt Sarz says there's a hold on a "SEC" game on 11/15 at 2, which he thinks is the Mizzou game.

FWIW the Marquette website had those times for the Atlantis games awhile ago. At least a few weeks.

Agree about Georgetown game making the most sense for NMD, brew. Doesn't mean that's what will be chosen ... because it makes too much sense!
