Who can the new coaches find to replace those who depart?
Those who depart, who still has roster openings?
Who still has NIL money available?

There are most definitely stakes. Just not as many stakes as there used to be with these feast week tournaments (which is the new norm).

It's still two solid to great non-conference matchups, that should be on national TV (unlike that Georgia game), that also gives the team a bonding opportunity in a tropical locale. I don't see any reason not to like this addition to the schedule.

As someone that is planning to go, it's kinda disappointing. If I were watching on tv, I'd care a little less.

Lots of high major games in many venues.  Shaka continues with his 'anybody, anywhere' philosophy.  I wonder what organization/cause will be the beneficiary of the Sparty exhibition.

I think I'd put the O/U at 9.5 for Non-Conference wins with that schedule. We will be heavy underdogs for Michigan and Virginia. Heavy favorites against Mississippi State and the 6 cupcakes. I think we will be slight favorites for Wisconsin and TAMU and a toss up against Mizzou.

that is no longer a requirement so maybe it's just a high profile exhibition game like St. John's did with Michigan last season. That was a game sponsored by Bad Boy Mowers.

We've got MSU, Michigan, and UDM on the schedule. Why not add the four other Michigan D1 schools too? We'd go at least 5-2 for MI supremacy.

I don't think there's much value lost on the student only game unless it's a marquee game. Detroit Mercy is not that.

Tom Izzo wants to retire and needs more money to do that. Also, he wants a cut to compensate him for taking Joey off our hands. That was an issue that was never settled.
