Marquette did NOT participate in the first free agent market last season. 5 days into the second free agent market, we have not yet seen any actual moves by Marquette.

We've heard rumors of players, but most of these rumored players are signing to other teams.

It has yet to be seen that Marquette is able to pay the prices the players are wanting.

Agreed, with all the smoke around Knowlen Minissale (that's for JB) prior to the portal, I at least expected something there, but even he slow-rolled.  (shrug).

For those getting impatient, just look at what's going on (or not) in the Big East. None of the conference's three 2026 NCAAT reps (UConn, St. John's, Nova) has announced a single signing. Neither have Seton Hall, Georgetown or DePaul. In other words, Marquette's got plenty of company. Creighton has announced one signing. Providence and Butler have been relatively busy, but they've lost way more than they've added.

But sure, it would be nice to see someone sign with our alma mater, perhaps starting with Norton Minnussayle.

GTown, Nova, and Hall with commits today, DePaul with one yesterday.  Kwame looks like a good one for Nova.
