I'm not sure I actually believe the #s thrown out by folks here, but if so...kids are getting PAID this year.  I also don't expect much delay on announcements once the window opens, obviously talks have been happening.

I would suggest that about 50% already had a deal done elsewhere when they officially entered the portal. Shaka put everyone on notice during halftime of a game in February, which was a clear indicator to agents that opportunity exists at MU. Hopefully, MU has the 3 vacancies filled by Friday.

MU must get dominant/ultra/elite talent and multidimensional ballers.  I don't know what we will need to spend, but this has to be done and all options must be on the table.

Money doesn't necessarily equate to success.  Indiana spent a lot a got bupkis.  We need to identify the right pieces to compliment our young guns.  There's talent out there, usurp it.  Then we can negotiate a fair price.

Nah, a large portion of transfers have already been in talks with the schools and knew where they were going for weeks.

First, I don't think the 30% is anywhere near correct in men's cbb. Further, having a do not contact tag doesn't necessarily mean the SA knows where they are heading.

I'm not so sure on this... I generally agree that it feels like there are no more, but there are countless scenarios I can see where another could go. And we may not know for more than 2 weeks (administrators have 48 bidnezz hours to enter the player into the portal after notification).

With our big #RGV stuff... could it be that a center is making a sacrificial offer.. 'hey, if you guys find another big(s) in the next couple of weeks and it looks like my chances of any minutes next year are gone, I may transfer to give you room and find myself playing time.. let's see what happens..."???  Maybe sounds crazy to some, but I could see it being a thing.

So.. my thought now is, 'we're likely done with transfers out... but we won't know for a couple weeks+ for sure and it could change.... in addition, it could be some guys just don't want to announce publicly until after the banquet... they love the community and culture and want to enjoy that night with their guys before letting the masses know'

Yes. Not uncommon at all in CFB for guys to transfer out when they see who is coming in. I'd guess this happens in CBB also.
