If it's true that the Padres turned down four-plus years of Will Warren for a month of Morejon, I wouldn't hold out much hope of anyone prying Mason Miller.

Why would they deal Miller.  They've won 8 of 9 and are a game back for the 2nd wild card spot.

Taylor Ward to Seattle.

Might be too late for the Mariners, but we'll see. Ward was a dynamo in 2024 and 2025 but he's had a power shortage this season ... just like the Mariners. Seattle did not give up real prospects in the deal, so I guess why not.
