I'm not the biggest Brewers fan but I've liked them ever since my MU daze ... and I wish they had been more aggressive on the trade market.

You get Skubal and you not only give yourself two absolute studs at the top of your rotation, you also keep the Dodgers from getting him.

If the Brewers could score just a few runs, Miz-Skubal-Harrison would be very tough to beat in a series.

No

I wish they were more aggressive but the guy I wanted after Skubal (Detmers) didn't go. The one bat (Goodman) that had a place to play here also didn't go.

I thought the Cubs had a really good deadline. Gausman is a name but the guys they got today can really pitch. They gave up quite a bit though. I am glad the Brewers were not in the position they and the Padres were.
