Hurley doesn't bother me too much. Slick Rick on the other hand...

The Sultan

Yeah, I love Hurley. He doesn't bother me at all.

Imagine the worry around here that he could win the starting spot (again).  I agree he could be serviceable in a backup role but would prefer to move on.  He is very likely forever the name and face most tied to this failed season.  Every mistake he'd make next year or as a 5th year senior would be amplified as a result.

lol. No.

He may want to move on, but if he stays and contributes he will be celebrated when he graduates like the seniors were yesterday.

90% of the consternation over Caedin can be tied to the coaching staff creating unreasonable expectations for him and forcing him into the starting lineup for 17 games when he had no business being there.
Otherwise, he'd just be another below average big, of which this program has had many over the years.

Agreed. He gets 10x more discussion on this board relative to his ability and current playing time than he should. And you are right that the Shaka is to blame for him becoming the poster boy for recruiting and talent evaluation failures. I get it, but it is time to focus on the more important issues for this team.

Silliness. It would be no worse than carrying Matt Heldt on the roster in 2018-19.

Hurley has some AL in him. McGuire always went after the refs and had plenty of ejections. I personally like Hurley. Knows how to win.

I sat a couple of rows behind the bench once and heard everything that Al said to the refs. After that, I never could figure out why he was not tossed by halftime in every game.
Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.
