Agreed. He gets 10x more discussion on this board relative to his ability and current playing time than he should. And you are right that the Shaka is to blame for him becoming the poster boy for recruiting and talent evaluation failures. I get it, but it is time to focus on the more important issues for this team.

Hurley has some AL in him. McGuire always went after the refs and had plenty of ejections. I personally like Hurley. Knows how to win.

I sat a couple of rows behind the bench once and heard everything that Al said to the refs. After that, I never could figure out why he was not tossed by halftime in every game.
