Oh...I understood that you were referring to UCONN, not Arizona, as "smoke and mirrors". And I disagree.

Do you mind sharing the powerball numbers?

Quote from: 1SE on March 07, 2026, 02:13:46 PMI Mean we have to be honest, the V had much more to do w UCONN going 3-24 from 3 (on plenty of good.looks) but I won't look a gift horse in the mouth!

Eh. Obviously that was a big factor. But never once during that game did I think we were getting outplayed. Guys fought like hell and played well.

After a quick peek at the UCONN Boneyard site, I'd say 1. few even commented on the no call and 2. the opinions that it was the right call outnumbered the bad call opinions.

Our guys played hard.  This was a strong defensive effort by MU.  Most of the UCONN bricks were contested and Caraban and Ball have been inconsistent.

No way! I make a TON of money off of knowing them.

The W of course is the Big Prize, but the icing on the cake was I got my second wish as well.
And literally at the last second. I can die in peace now.

Watched the final play 10x. Kudos to the refs. Ben played it absolutely perfectly, but we've all seen refs call fouls in similar situations.

For all of the bumping MU players got when they drove to the basket it would have been criminal to call a foul on that play.

Exactly. Hurley is a 🤡.

Nice game for the Warriors and a positive way to end regular season. Hamilton even had some moments. Screw Hurley. He is and will always be a dick, Pitino and Hurley are the two headed dick of the BEast. Still going to need much help for next year. Stevens, Parham and James should continue to grow. Hope the redshirts and incoming frosh can contribute. We do need a down low pounder for next year. Hamilton and Clark can be backups to that guy, and we can give up 10 fouls per game at that position. Also need to decent backup PG to spell James. Need lots more help.

I saw that tweet earlier and went straight to the replies.  The vast majority of replies were saying no foul and most weren't MU fans as far as I could tell.  Even a UCONN fan said it was not a foul

Caedin played like a viable backup center today. Just sayin'.

This.  We need legit starting center for next season, no doubt about it.

But if Caedin wants to come back as an upperclassmen and battle Sheek for the backup 5 minutes, fine.  He can play hard and physical for 10-12 minutes and we'll be just fine.  I'll never complain about having a veteran backup 5 like that if he is bought into that role.

But finding that starting center in the portal is the key.

With 15 player on the roster, I'm at the point where I don't care if he stays or goes. I care 100x more about who starts and who maybe the next starting C.

Yep.  Finding a starting center is the key.

Caedin as an experienced, role player backup wouldnt hurt us.

but...I love that Pitino and Hurley are in the BE. They bring attention. Regardless of Pitino's past and Hurley's antics, they bring prestige. Beating THEM makes it all the better. Agree with your other comments. Regarding Hamilton, I'm hopeful. Clark, I have no idea. But, reason for optimism if the portal brings some help.
