MU may in fact shock the world and punk UCONN tomorrow.  I get the chances are slim, but they're not none.  UCONN has been very inconsistent.  Again, it's very unlikely.  But it's probably in the 18-20% chance range as opposed to 0.0.  They're not worldbeaters.  My personal opinion is they're closer to a 25-30 team than top 5.  Fk' em.  It's doable.

If UCONN is up and motivated for this game (like playing for a #1 seed) then MU is cooked. If UNCONN isn't all in, then MU has a puncher's chance.

That seems high to me. I'm not a gambler but if someone said they would give me $10 if MU loses if I would give them $50 if MU wins, I would take it.

Of course part of taking that wager is that the fun and excitement of seeing MU win today would be worth $50 to me.

I'm going to the game today hoping that it is at least competitive and entertaining, but I really don't expect it. The scars from watching Ball, Caraban, Spencer, and even Stewart draining 3's like they were free throws the last two years are still there.

The possibility of Reed dominating inside while Ball, Caraban,and Mullins get open shots is pretty high.

There are world shaking hoops upsets in the annals of history.   Maybe we go ballistic early like vs Creighton and Hurley gets tossed? Maybe Nigel goes off and Adrien laces 6 triples?  And maybe, just maybe, Ben & Chase go out with strong performances?  Personally, I like the Hack-a-Reed strategy if they push out early.  One thing is certain: If we have an anemic start, like last Saturday, cancel Christmas.  We could lose by 30. 

We must find our range early.  There is 0.0000000000000% pressure on MU.  Drain shots, fly around and pick their pockets and passes defensively, value the ball and rebound with tenacity and fury.

This year's UConn team is better, but they do seem to often play to the level of the opponent. Hence the loss to Creighton and close games vs the likes of GT and Prov, but also some impressive wins, most recently the throttling of Pitino's team.

Hoping we keep it close, hang around till the end, and then find some way to steal it. Highly unlikely, but not impossible.
