Duke Brennan took his right hand off the ball so that he could elbow Marquette's best player in the face and it was only a Flagrant 1? What does it take to get a Flagrant 2? He easily could have given him a concussion, broken his nose, etc. It was so clearly intentional and there is no place in the game of basketball for that. Definitely should have been ejected. Now everyone thinks that won't get you ejected from a game so look for it to happen more often. Absolutely stunned that he wasn't ejected.

Throwing your elbows around after a board should be a penalty regardless of making contact. It's so unnecessary

Would have hurt Brennan's feelings and caused emotional damage to him.

Theo John would have received a flagrant 2, been ejected, suspended, and probably had a fine taken out of his NIL money for doing less.

I knew that with Williard's return to the BE, he would encourage dirty playing on his team. The BET game years ago with the dirty play and ejections in the MU/SH game were pure Williard. I practically brushed shoulders with him heading the opposite direction just outside of MSG with Powell at his side in the days before that game. I wished afterwards that I had "accidently" tripped him. Just like Grayson Allen.

Wild horses couldn't drag me into either political party, but for very different reasons.

Hey at least it got a whistle.  Stevie used to get beat down right in front of the officials with nothing called.

MU could use a Maurice Lucas/Bob Lackey-type to make opponents think twice about the cheap shots.
