Poor coaching. Poor defense and as usual no shot to end the game.  How do you give wide open corner 3's when you are up 9 ?

Watching it live, I didn't think Askew had both feet down out of bounds when he caught the pass on the baseline. If he didn't, it should have been a line violation. Maybe I was mistaken.

I also thought the pass to Askew looked odd. Refs definitely let Villanova get away with a lot down the stretch and they needed every bit of it.

It makes sense Shaka doesn't work on end of game situations since we have major issues just playing 39 minutes of high major basketball.

I believe next year will be better.

It's lack of Senior leadership. Neither Ben or Chase can create a shot for themselves and the young guys look to them for direction.

Chase has been a total zero in his Senior season. Ben isn't far off.

1) Give up on the defensive traps and double teams.  We don't have the athletes to force turnovers and give up so many open looks.

2) will anyone be surprised when Chase is busted for throwing games?

3) parham is a taller, more physical, yet slightly slower version of Lazar

4) how many times do we slow down the ball with 4-5 minutes left and with a lead?

I thought Shaka did a good job overall, but picking up Lewis that high down the stretch was a big mistake. No one could stay in front of him over that distance.

Ya....I honestly didn't get that tbe entire game.

Easy, Shaka seems to have got this team beyond getting blown out every game. Baby steps.

I thought things were going fine until the freshmen mistakes at the end. Two costly turnovers leading to points, airball 3, then the last play. Oh well, on to next effort

Nova doesn't have a rim protector.  And he dropped 31 against them at Fiserv on like 12 shots.

That was his first big scoring game and he was unconscious from three. Now that teams have seen how we operates they're going to concentrate on keeping him from driving to the basket and take their chances with his outside shooting.

Ross took two shots tonight, the same as Tre Norman.  Two.... With his only make a three pointer near the end, prior to the Nigel James possessions disaster.  How does that happen?
