Yeah, riiight. They should absolutely serve some version of your dessert. That's what all good cocktail bars should do Muggsy. Instead of catering to customers' drink preferences.

Sometimes I wonder if I should go back to using teal.

Wouldn't matter in this situation

Now here's an idea somewhat in line with Muggsy's drinking preferences (vanilla ice cream with cookie crumbs and a splash of liqueur):

Instead of a root beer float, how about a craft beer float? Vanilla ice cream would pair very nicely with craft beer. Serve with crushed ginger snap cookies sprinkled on top. Every Brew Pub should absolutely offer this!

Ever notice how obesity spiked with desserts becoming a thing?  Only fatso's have dessert.

We need to ban desserts to MAHA.  As we move towards genetic purity, we must not allow fatties to populate our great nation.

I stopped going to Violet Hour in Chicago cause they wouldn't turn one of their gin cocktails into an ice cream sundae for me.  Horrific customer service

For booze, generally rotate between manhattans, gin martinis, gimlets (summer) and bourbon either on the rocks or in a Boulevardier. Almost completely off beer as I get older because of the incessant need to pee.

Big fan of "bitter" cocktails. I'll often sub Campari (like in the Boulevardier) with other amari. I love amaro. I'll also tinker with different sweet vermouths, but not like amaro and other bitter liquors.

you obviously haven't had a MAHA Float, made with frozen raw milk in beef tallow.

Hards Alumni

Coffee. Black ground and dripped at home, rarely a miel from a cafe

Oolong tea. Brewed in the Gong Fu Cha method, no additions

Water.  Spring at the office or RO filtered at my home

Beer.  Any kind will do.  Favorite styles are NEIPA, BA, and dunkels

Cocktails very rarely, but I will make a Monte Carlo or an Old Fashioned at home... or a neat dram of Scotch (Islay) or Bourbon on occasion.

Soda very rarely, Soda water never, fruit juices even more rarely

Halloween our cul de sac does a gathering in the street to do one stop candy hand out.  Drinks are served.
This year I added a dessert treat. Drunken Oreos. Vodka infused Oreo pudding filled Oreos.

Before I moved to sunny FLA, our circle did the same thing. I'd put out an 8' table of full and king sized candy bars, non-chocolate treats, and plenty of goldfish/cheese it/graham cracker/fruity snack type goodies along with a cooler of several varieties of cold beer and a couple bottles of good wine. Was in Palm Springs this year and was totally sad I missed it.

Those sound amazing!

I have a crock pot of cider going every Halloween for a hand warmer for parents supervising trick or treating. Have bourbon for those that wish to add some. It has become a nice tradition that neighbors specifically seek out through the night!
Assume what I say should be in teal if it doesn't pass the smell test for you.

TAMU, Knower of Ball

Water is the only thing I drink in the morning.

Coke Zero for lunch.

Zoa if I hit the 3pm wall.

Water thoroughout the day.

I don't have go to alcoholic drinks. I've become a fan of Happy Thursdays in the summer. Will drink about any beer or wine. Old fashioned if I'm making a cocktail.
