Sour beers, Mint Green Tea from Rishi, fizzy water, cold brew coffee with cinnamon and oat milk, Paraduxx red wine blend, a good Malbec/cotes du Rhone/rose, bourbon/whiskey and Fresca, Coke Zero, espresso martini from down the street, dirty martini, Negroni or spritz (the more bitter, the better)

Water, lots of water, always filtered, almost never straight from the tap, rarely bottled

One more beverage-a seasonal one. Apple cider. We have several orchards in our county, and the apple cider here is the real deal, not that crap sold in the grocery stores. I sometimes add a little cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to mine. This time of year, I drink a lot of it.

We've had zero hurricanes hit Florida since they banned fluoride in the water. Coincidence? I think not. Or it could be the fact we banned chemtrails. Or maybe a combination.

Growing up, my dad worked for Coke. In fact, my grandfather was one of the original bottlers before my dad and uncle had a Big D Rodeo, and he sold it. So, I grew up drinking Coke, I love a good, sharp, poppy swig. It's way better than Pepsi, right Tower 😁

My mom would always say, if you want a Coke, drink a real Coke with real sugar. Don't drink all that diet crap. Well, today I have replaced the swig of real Coke with Coke Zero, and it's all over Europe. I will say, Coke Zero makes everything you drink after it taste very strange. Muggs, sometimes I just love a good, nostalgic sip.

I shouldn't have made such a blanket statement. Maybe not everything, but I have noticed it. I had a funny encounter in Italy where I ordered a glass of red wine and a Coke Zero, cause, well, I wanted that swig. The host looked at me funny and basically said uh no, or at least don't drink the coke first as it will mess with the flavor of the wine. Made me chuckle.
