Quote from: MuggsyB on May 11, 2026, 02:22:25 PMThere have been a few things I've read that seem to think Wilson could break up the assumed top 3.  He may have a bigger upside than Boozer?  He's been compared to Garnett.

He's better than Ben Gold.

That Pacers Zubac trade went from really good to really bad!

Detroit needs to wake the F up.  Very upsetting.

Mike Brown gets a lot of blame, perhaps deservedly, when things are going bad ... so maybe it's time to give the man some credit.

The Knicks' offense is much more fluid than it had been, and I like the way KAT is being used more on the post and as a facilitator, rather than jacking up a bunch of 3s.

The team has bought into playing physical D, too.

Brown also has done a good job using the guys on the bench; whoever plays is put in position to succeed and is then productive.

Everyone knows the first one to ten points almost always wins an NBA game.

They read my concerns over that last time-out.  :)

I'm kind of shocked.  I didn't think it was possible to overcome an 11 point difference with 3 and a half quarters left in a NBA playoff game.  Pistons would be the first team to ever pull that off.

Wrong.  They were motivated by my comments.  A 14 point swing in the 1Q happens less often than you think.

Fk.  I didn't think I would have to compose additional messages to Detroit.  Inexcusable lapse there.

This is a complete disaster. I don't get this Pistons team.

Quote from: The Sultan on May 09, 2026, 05:50:51 PMOK bud. Time for your nap.
Back from my nap.  Very refreshed.  Still not in favor of harden for HOF but his early career and longevity do it.  As for the ethics and aesthetics of his game... here's an experiment I've actually done.  I went to a pickup game with my normal group and started doing the harden stuff.  The 4-5 step setback, the 7 step drive to the lane and the top of the key defender slug.  I did it because a couple guys in my group were big Harden fans.  Needless to say they quickly became unappreciative of both the ethics and the aesthetics.  I suggest you try the same experiment with your pickup group and see how they like it.  You'll have to be a very good diplomat to not come away with a bloody nose!

Yes. No one knows ball more than a bunch of old dudes playing pick—up.

Only Koalas can take a nap like that.  Also, Fluffy has poor handles and can't execute the step-back J.

I woke up from my nap, went to the Y, and started doing reverse dunks and pinpoint alley-oop passes. All the guys said that's the kind of basketball they appreciate.

No idea why Wemby was taken out  before the 6 min mark when he had 16pts.  Could have had a 25 pt 1Q.

The Bulls dealing Ayo for a totally crappy package was idiotic.  The kid has game.

Minnesota is well coached and has great mental toughness.
