Manatee persecution has to end.  Tremendous species.

Manatees can also swin 20 mph in short bursts.  Their agility is vastly underrated.  :)

Wembanyama was great on defense in Game 1, obviously, but he should have been called for goaltending on at least three of his blocks (a fourth was possible but more difficult to tell).

Said Wolves coach Chris Finch: "You know the value of eight points in an NBA game? It's massive, right? That's also 33 percent of his blocks, were goaltending, uncalled. If I were to give you a 33 percent raise, you'd like that, right? That's a huge number."

Anunoby has been playing incredible basketball.

Edgecombe could wind up being really good.

MuggsyB

Terrible basketball from both teams down the stretch.

MuggsyB

San Antonio isn't playing intelligent basketball at all.

Draymond might want to watch some Charles Barkley highlights.

Cade Cunningham is a really good player but some of his turnovers are ridiculous.  Whatever happened to valuing the ball?

Lakers/OKC has been poorly officiated.

unless of course you had OKC covering, which perhaps the officials did.

James Harden will stick around for years and make tens of millions of dollars annually, but he is pretty much toast as a player who can influence victory in big games.

Last night, he had 10 points on 3-of-13 shooting with 4 turnovers. In Cleveland's 2 losses to Detroit, he's shooting 32% (including 9% from deep), and he has more turnovers (11) than either assists (10) or FGs (9). So far this postseason, he's committed 47 turnovers in 9 games. Oh, and his defense sucks, too.

There were a number of awful calls on both teams.  That said, SGA was on the bench in foul trouble for essentially the entire 3Q.  I noticed Reddick didn't mention his team was outscored by 15 during that stretch in his rant.  The one guy on OKC that's super annoying to me is Dort.  Especially his flopping on screens.

He gives away more than he provides to his team. No way he's a Hall of Famer. As a Pistons fan, I am always looking to see who he's guarding and know that person is going to get off a high quality shot

James Harden has a near 100% probability of being inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. According to Basketball-Reference, he is ranked among the top active players with a 99.99% chance of induction, firmly considered a "lock". His resume includes an MVP award, multiple scoring titles, and high-volume, historic scoring, securing his legacy

I always went to Rockets-Bucks games when he was there just to watch the Bucks guard him and go at him.  It was a basketball clinic

Counterpoint, in the 2018 WCF he averaged 29/6/6 and averaged 32/7/7 in games 6 and 7 against the Steph and KD warriors. He showed up that series and the role players let him down. He was similarly good in the 2015 WCF against the Warriors.

He had some years that he was a winning player. He just hasn't been in a long time. Obviously his defense has always been bad, but his offense was so good that it didn't matter for 3-4 years there.

My counterpoint:

Harden is the reason we are dealing with absurd flopping in the NBA.  He was rewarded with his garbage when he played for Houston, and it has led to a plethora of players acting like they are  charged by rhinos on zero contact plays.     I'm always pleased when he craps the bed in the playoffs.
