Its in response to a very real and very dangerous movement in fascism in the late 30s. They knew this 80 years ago. And im guessing with your age, you probably had either fathers or grandfather's who fought against the nazis.

FWIW, I'm a registered Independent. I voted twice for Reagan, and also for Bush I. I voted for Blago's opponent twice when I lived in Chicago. In 2012, I voted for Pat McCrory for NC governor.

As soon as the GOP let Epstein's Best Buddy co-opt their once-proud party, though, I could no longer vote for a Republican. Like millions of others registered like me, I am a Never Trump Independent.

I truly respect Never Trump Republicans, many of whom have put their political careers on the line to speak the truth about the Fascist In Chief.
