We have established an appropriate grief meter in this country now.  You will grieve at the appropriate level or you will lose your job.  Moving forward, all people that pass away must be grieved the same.  No exceptions.  If you see any exceptions, please report that person to the company they work for.

For example, if Ilhan Omar dies and anyone celebrates it or points out why they disagree, that person needs to lose their job and be ostracized.  Those are the rules of society now.

It was actually me who emailed Wade's HR because he did not properly mourn Joe Lieberman.

Quote from: Uncle Rico on September 18, 2025, 07:42:44 AMNo, he's fine with fascism overtaking the country.  A lot of people are.  A lot of people who are the hateful.  The racists, homophobes, misogynists, transphobes.  The ones that invoke god but turn a blind eye to injustice, inhumanity and poverty.

But the rich are getting richer and that's what Jesus would want.

Just so I have an idea Uncle R:  Of the 77 million people that voted for Trump, what percentage of them are Nazis, Fascists, Racists, Misogynists, Homophobes, Transphobes, and Threats to Democracy?

I assume you are referring to Kimmel being suspended?  Personally, I don't think the government should be involved with this decision at all.  If it was because Trump pressured the bigwigs I think it's a terrible precedent.  But Kimmel also didn't have good ratings as far as I know, so the bosses could have used his idiotic and bold faced lie as the last straw.  I have no idea but the guy will wind up going digital and gaining more followers like you.  Beyond that I thought the comments of Pam Bondi about policing or "going after" hate speech was literally tbe dumbest thing I've ever heard from a cabinet member.

Lastly, as far as the Liberal "threat to democracy" narrative, if a President has no role in running our country would you characterize that as a threat to democracy?  Oh...and when all sorts of conservatives have lost their jobs for speech, say Roseanne and Gina Carano, which Liberals were up in arms about it?

I 100% believe in free speech, and that includes hate speech.  Companies can do whatever they want if they conclude an employee engages in it or if it's bad for business.  If Kimmel or Colbert had good ratings this wouldn't have happened, regardless if Trump pressured the CEO's.  If Trump forced this it's definitely wrong, so we agree on that point.

Anyone who still supports this administration is by definition a fascist. Because the administration is fascist. It's inarguable. Fascists are by definition a threat to democracy, so same goes for that. I can't and won't speak to the others you listed because I have no idea.

It's also factual that Kimmel being removed came straight from Trump and the FCC director. They aren't hiding it. Hopefully this wakes you the unnatural carnal knowledge up from whatever world you're living in.

Please look at what's actually happening, im not some die hard liberal. If you look at my post history I align about 75% of my views with the old non trump GOP.

One more post before I get banned for politics (its insane im this active on politics)

I 100% believe in small government, and I 100% percent believe in free speech. The FCC threatening (via Trump administration) companies to deny their mergers unless they remove people speaking had of Kirk (Read between the lines, speaking bad of Trump administration) is not small government, and absolutely steps on the constitution with a muddy boot.

Something this fascist administration has done for the past 9 months.

Roseanne and Gina Carano didn't lose their jobs because the FCC boss threatened to hold up a merger if they weren't fired.  Your facsist government have now twice pressured networks to abandon late night TV hosts because they were mean to a facist so they'd get a merger done.  That is government censorship.

Maybe come up with a five point plan to stop fascism in your own country.  I'd be concerned now, because once they eliminate intellectuals, the media, the arts, non-whites, non-heterosexuals, they'll turn to the Jews, Catholics and others that aren't religiously correct.

And can you let me know when your fascist leaders are going to start "bringing the country together" and "tone down the rhetoric"?  I'll hang up an listen

Thank you for sharing your thoughts.  I assume all Republicans were Nazis and Fascists under W. as well?  Or did this just happen with 75+ million Americans after 2016?  Because I recall the Bush is a Nazi narrative during that administration.  And I'm also curious, if we have 75 million plus racists, did this just happen after Trump was elected and therefore explains the 2008 and 2012 elections?

I get the distinction your making and again, if pressure from the FCC is why this happened, I don't agree with it. However, Kimmel had poor ratings, and maybe this happened for a number of reasons.

The person elected in 2016 was a direct result of a black man being president.  A direct result.

The head of the FCC said this what they would do.  He wrote it in Project 2025.

The President today called for Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers to lose their jobs.

But, yes, it's about ratings.

Legally I would imagine the FCC can do something about network television as opposed to the cable networks.  And calling for Fallon or Myers to lose their jobs is definitely wrong.  But truthfully?  All of these people probably will do better on digital platforms.

Yes trump absolutely killed the GOP in 2016-2020. Remember when Paul Ryan was in line to easily become the next republican president? But then the 2016-2020 admin completely destroyed his reputation?

Why would W. Be a nazi? He wasnt taking brown people off the street and deporting them to Nicaragua without a trial. Literally only trump has done that.

The gop that existed for my life was put on life support in early 2016. It no longer exists. A small extremist religious cell (left over from palins idiocy) has taken over and promised to bring us back to a time when America was "great". That theory is nonexistent, the america they, and you, long for never existed. However an old man with lead poisoning has gotten the votes of tons of other old white people with lead poisoning.

His statements make zero sense, the dude has clearly had a stroke. And yall think hes the 2nd coming of Reagan, and not the 2nd coming of Hitler. War on gays, war on Trans, war on anyone who doesn't see his "vision" of America.

This is not the GOP I supported.

And go unnatural carnal knowledge yourself if you think this is what the gop stood for.
