« on: February 28, 2008, 03:20:19 PM »
Extremely funny stuff and I am expecting our best effort on Saturday.  Some thoughts for additional faces to add:

Olsen Twins(legedary)
Urkel (Family Matters)
Norm (Cheers)
Richard Simmons(enough said)
Billy Packer(if he is doing the game)
Jim Nance(ditto)
Gus Armstrong(best voice in college hoop)
Dr. Phil
Eddie Haskell (Leave it to Beaver)
George Jefferson
Caveman Guy (Geico)
Linda Richmond

You can see all the big heads at:

http://www.gomarquette.com/bigheads

Already have the Olsen twins.  And Richard Simmons just won the last fan vote for the Pitt game over my pick, Bill Simmons.  I think the Sports Guy should definitly be a big head, or at least be in another vote because if someone sent him the link he would hopefully put it on his weekly links page.

Julia Louis-Dreyfuss. She's got a big head. It's too big for her body. She's a walking candy apple.

I posted this on another thread, but whatever.

If there isn't a giant head featuring Dr. Hibbert from the Simpsons in the student section (for obvious reasons), I'm going to be very upset.

Some of the heads were stolen?  I voted for Rosie O'Donnell who should be capable of causing outright panic for anyone seeing her.  Is there a support stick or something strong enough for that cut-out?

Quite frankly, I'm surprised the school hasn't been sued for this or at least a cease and desist from some of the celebrities.

Yeah, if you take a walk around Mashuda, McCormick, Schrades, Carp, and Cobeen you can see them in the windows generally.

So we have the crack Pubic Safety guys on the case then trying to find the offenders?   ;)

You have to give them a form of ID in exchange for the big head now because they kept getting stolen.  Then at the end of the game you get your ID back when you return the big head.

go get a new ID from the Union.  I think it's $5.

If the ID is damaged it's $5. A 'lost' ID is $15. A little bit more of a deterrent.

$15 for a genuine cut-out face actually used at a Marquette game..
and that's only if you're dumb enough to use your real student id in the first place  8-)

Also it is an ID so it's not like they don't know who has the big head should you choose to steal it.

I want to see the big head of Joani Crean.  Particularly one of her being digusted with a bad call.

How about Richard Nixon

Gorbie, his "beauty mark" would be a show stopper
