If they play the Panthers, then yes, go Canes. But, if it's Toronto, sorry, I want a Canadian team to make the finals and win it (and an all-Canada finals would be awesome) because of how it will trigger you know who!   

The way the Canes play D reminds me of the mid-to-late-90s Devils and their neutral zone trap and Red Wings and the "left wing lock."

Yes, Toronto is my second choice. A Toronto-Edmonton final would be delicious. And probably real good hockey, too!

Seriously, how can a team with the resources of the Maple Leafs underperform like this for 50+ years? It's one thing if its a smaller Canadian market like Calgary or Ottawa, but even those two teams have made the Stanley Cup Finals this millenium.

I don't know if there is a similar example of underperformance in all of North American sports.

Their fans starting booing them.  I'm also not sure that 4th goal shouldn't have counted.  I can't recall a more brutal G5 and G7 on home ice.  That 2nd period was complete domination from the Panthers.

Florida isn't absolutely dominating Carolina on both ends of the ice. 7 SOG for Carolina through two periods.
