Video of McDavid's assist on Edmonton's third goal should immediately be sent to the Hockey Hall of Fame. The moves and pinpoint pass reminded me so much of Mario Lemieux - and that's obviously a good thing.

There have been a lot of "instant classic" sporting events lately. This game wasn't one of them.

The Oilers sucked.

They sucked trying to play their game, and they really sucked trying to play Florida's game.

I'd been rooting for the Oilers, but it's impossible to root for undisciplined, goonish, dirty, inept hockey.

Edmonton lost their composure for some reason. 

going down 1-0 on a weak goal a minute into the game didn't help.

Three PP goals given up by Edmonton. They did the same against Dallas in game one and came back to win game two. We'll see if they can right the ship in a similar fashion. I hope they can but Florida looks damn tough. And to think the Leafs had them dead to rights...

Ya....I was very surprised Skinner started tonight.  Edmonton still needs to find a way to steal this game.  Florida is dominating the action in the 3rd.

I know we are in the era of the latest thing being "the best ever" but this series is certainly worthy of being in that discussion. 3 OT games in the first four, two of them tied up by the home team in the final 20 seconds and won by the road team. This needs to go to OT in game 7 with the home team winning.
