Why the switch to Pickard wasn't nade before the game tonight. Skinner had been the weak link for Edmonton. Hopefully the switch wasn't finally made too late for Edmonton

Unmitigated disaster/meltdown from Edmonton.  Very upsetting.

They're kind of screwed either way. Pickard was heroic in Game 4 but looked very shaky in Game 5. Skinner had a nice stretch earlier in the playoffs but hasn't played well in this series ... although none of the goals against him in Game 4 was his fault.

Bobrovsky is a bazillion times better than either of them, and Florida is the more aggressive, better coached team. The Marchand trade also has proved to be brilliant. He fits what they do perfectly.

Agreed.  That was awful.  What happened to this team?  I think they got rattled with the physicality.

This has honestly been an embarrassment.  I really thought Edmonton was gonna step up.

Bouchard turnovers gave the Panthers their first two goals. Then Skinner surrendered a rebound on a puck he could have and should have gloved, and it was 3-0.

Florida is the better team and took advantage of Edmonton's generosity, but it really was a complete failure by the Oilers.

And sorry, but that also includes the guy some call the most talented player in hockey history.
