Too bad we have to see the Saudi guys again but it's the Masters.

I'm just killing time here until the Tiger Sunday charge.

I'll be in Butler Cabin Sunday.  It'll be fun to see from there

I kind of feel there needs to be a Manning-Cast style broadcast with Verne on Sunday. Let him call 16 from his couch with a drink in hand for a little while. Bring in guests like Raftery to chat with him.

I think a competitor is going to have to call Augusta PD on Scheffler not using a turn signal to get him out of contention.

Have you run into Herm yet?

This might sound sacrilegious on Scoop but I'm happy the LIV players are in. It's nice to be able to watch guys I've heard of.

No different than leaving the school you started at for a bag drop in the portal.  Or the Hausers.  I am done wishing them ill, but I am not rooting for them. And I certainly will not watch one of their tournaments or care.

Justin rose to the Thursday occasion.

Make the joke, he hits in the trees on 17.

And again on 18.

I am the jinx.

Wow a 65?  Soft greens?

No.  Little wind, great playing.

I just saw he crapped the bed.  Two doubles?  A 7?  Can't happen if he expects to win this tournament.

He was sailing, playing incredible golf. On #15, he hit a perfect drive and hit a nice-looking 2nd but it overcooked the green a bit and left a tough chip. He then scorched the chip past the hole, down the embankment and into the drink. He never really recovered. Had another disastrous chip on 17.

So it looked like he finally was gonna give himself a decent chance to win this thing but then, for the umpteenth straight year, he gave himself a huge uphill climb due to a bad first-round score.

Yes, after two shots on 15, it felt like this could be the year.
