St. John's was pretty close to the Elite 8 and Rick regularly brings in awesome transfers, but his crazy rate of roster turnover isn't ideal. He signed a 3-year extension so maybe he'll adjust his approach to be more sustainable? I think you want a stretch where more than 2 starters come back each year.

It wouldn't be my concern, but STJ's tendency to suck in the non-con because of lack of continuity only to plow through a Big East schedule is bad for the conference. They have basically zero good non-con wins during his tenure.

I didn't say anything about Sanon. Just pointing out that Pitino has been through roster turnovers without much/any regression, so losing Sanon probably won't be a big deal.
