It has absolutely nothing to do with Clark and Hamilton. Good lord.

Only thing it could have to do with Hamilton....Is.....He could have been getting too much vs. what Sheek thinks he should have been paid....

If Hamilton wants to stay.....Zero....Prove it....To get paid...

You honestly believe Sheek's thought was, "if 18 is here next season, that's cool. If he isn't, that's cool too. Doesn't matter to me or affect me either way! la, la, la, la, la RGV!!"????

I assume this is a bit.  But if it's not and you've lost your mind the answer is yes.

Shaka started 18 over parham for a third of the season last year.

2 years in a row he was touted to the national media as a massive improvement going into the season.

Now Shaka never said what he improved from though. Completely incompetent to being a low major level player? Massive improvement. Not having the cardio to play more than 10mpg to having the cardio to play 25mpg? Massive improvement.

I also was majorly oversold by Hamilton but in hindsight it was us all and the media who seemed to take it as Hamilton was proving to be a major contributor.

SS started him over Royce. The media didn't do that. SS kept him as a regular part of the first half rotation. The media didn't.

He's going to start over Fru as well.  Bookmark this.  Shaka will have 18 on the court on opening night at center court.

Shaka will play him all 40 minutes every game, too, which will cause Fru to transfer after the first semester.

Shaka has never overestimated Caedin's ability to the detriment of the program.

This sarcasm thing isn't as fun as I thought.

No sarcasm. JB and you have convinced me that Fru will have trouble even getting into games because Shaka loves Hamilton so much. I mean, Shaka played Hamilton 30+ mpg the second half of last season, right?

Shaka's favorite musical? Hamilton.

A lot of people are obsessed by Hamilton, some for Wicked, some For Good.   Jesus Christ, he isn't a Superstar.  But the sun will come out tomorrow as we ease on down the road. The world did not turn upside down.  Maybe another player can come from away.   We'll just have to wait for it.

I mean I'm sure you'll correct me but it seemed like Royce was playing more of a stretch 4 in the first half the year (poorly) which means that Hamilton vs Royce wasn't really a thought. We didn't have a traditional 5 to battle Caedin for it since Ben also isn't one either. Once Royce stopped being a stretch I thought he started playing over Caedin.

Please don't lump me in with JB on the Caedin stuff. Feel free to quote where I said that Sheek left because of him. I haven't said so. But you and several others, who claimed it's fine to have Caedin on the roster because he'll be end of the bench, are now realizing you whiffed. "It's fine Shaka has misevaluated him, he won't play!"

I argued keeping bad players on the roster was a bad idea. And now we're here. You don't have a leg to stand on in this particular argument.

You could also just try explaining yourself. Keeping players who have established that they are bad isn't a good idea. Acknowledging that would be a good start, though. Humility is a virtue.

When a player has established that they're bad, then you at least take a flyer on someone else. So that's my response to that. Shaka thinks he has value. He's wildly wrong, and it's a detriment to the program. We all know what Caedin is: bad. Even you would admit that. There's no defense at this point.
